Inking practice 16/2
After a few weeks off, I did a bit of inking practice yesterday to warm up for a return to drawing pages. I found some pencils by an up-and-coming artist, kind of obscure, you know? One or two of you may recognise his work even under my sloppy mark-making. I got it about 95% done.

Thor, the Warriors Three, Balder the Brave, and Galactus!
Kirby + Allison = Mike Allred, apparently.
It does always look like a bargain basement Mike Allred when I ink a proper comic artist, doesn't it? I think we favour a similar line thickness and of course I love his work.
Kirby Krackle!
Very nice Kirby homages going on here!
Somehow the combo becomes extremely lifelike. I'm sure I've seen that bottom left guy in a movie
Jack Kirby? Gotta say, I really love your inking style on these superhero pencils. Not jus this one; all of them.
Like police these viking guys. Always run towards the screams and explosions.
