Doujinshi theatre
I was moving house last week, hence the silence. But here's a little teaser, the cover for the story that follows Boys Like Fun part 2. It's exactly what it looks like. An outlaw Kitty Pryde and Wolverine comic set in 1985. It was all I felt like making. I'm pretty exhausted.
I've written and roughed it and all I can say is, it's exactly the hybrid of me and Chris Claremont you would expect it to be. Satisfying no one but its creator, perhaps, but at the moment, that's all I want to do. It's 23 pages long, one extra page as a "sorry" for this digression. After this, a new Steeple tale. In the meantime, you'll find out exactly how well I draw "Lady Deathstrike".
KIT + THE WOLF will appear as a PDF for $3 and up patrons on or around April 10th, running daily thereafter in the usual webcomic slot. Keep this under your hats lest I am stopped in my tracks.

The graphic in the corner makes me want to see Mr. Alison do a Spiderman or two.
Now I'm sad about the exchange rate
I'm absolutely convinced that if I'd read this comic in the 1980s, and not that now-embarrassing dalliance with far too many issues of Wonder Man and Sleepwalker, I'd be a wiser better person today.
Ah, the days of buying comics from British newsagents where they stuck a price sticker directly on the cover, before I discovered the direct market where they had a conversion table for dollars to pounds on the wall.
Kitty with leg warmers, 80s nostalgia!!
I AM. SO EXCITED.
It's been a long, tiring week, but this has be excited! Wondering what concert they're going to.
Really trying to read the concert ticket here and all I’m getting is “Rangoon Grape Board”
Rangoon Grape Board are going to rock you
I’m more than happy to indulge your whimsies - it’s important to let the creative batteries recharge.
I just realized: based on their outfits, especially the belts with large buckles, the bandanna, the event tickets - they're attending a rodeo, aren't they?
why can't I live in the multiverse where this was normal Marvel?
That is a damn fine cover and awesome depiction of Wolvie and Kitty. I also love the 80s era Spidey-Sense Marvel logo in the left-hand corner.
I am super X-cited for fir this!
You had me at 'Kitty Pryde'.
Yay! Looks like a lot of people are expecting to be more than satisfied.
This looks uncannily good and I am very much looking forward to it.
Wow!
YAY!!!!!
As one of those $3 and up patrons this pleases me.
This looks X-cellent! Count me a True Believer.
Lone Wolf and Kit
A pretty BOSS cover.
Very exited to see how the deaths are struck. This also sent me down a rapid rabbit hole of "what is up with the CCA logo these days", so informative as well.
Aw, yeah. Probably the first Wolverine comic I've looked forward to in close to 40 years.
A present? Just for me??
yes, please!
This is AMAZING
