Read DESTROY HISTORY: NEMS part 3 in full, now
Happy Sunday, dear reader! Here's the final part of Destroy History: NEMS. Drawing this two-part comic was a major undertaking - maybe the hardest of my career as an artist - but I'm pleased with the results and I hope you enjoy it too. NEMS parts two and three have been combined into a print version that will be available later this month. This story has been a strange diversion, thank you for your patience.
This brings to a close my sequence of "parenthetical minis". Solver will be back on January 5th with a new issue - I finished writing it yesterday. My plan is to spend next year working exclusively on Solver, with a second collection coming in the summer.

I love anything with Esther. She’s my favorite
After part 2 I had to break my own rule and read part 3 straight away. Absolutely wonderful, with my favourite TV show for good measure - thanks very much. That were grand, that were
What? That doesn't wrap up at all! Don't you dare do anything to my two favorite girls! (Great job, so much fun to read. :) )
Excellent. Loved the ending!
Thank you!
This is more support for my theory that Mr Allison is the best writer in Lloegr!
It turns out that the entire reason for the Ministry Of History being created was to take advantage of time travel to generate money to pay for education. However, the ministry immediately caused so many temporal problems that all that money got spent just on preventing the spacetime continuum from disappearing up itself. The embarrassment is why the entire topic is classified.
It's a good bit that has Esther and Shelley both in. Is a commission a commission if it's for charity? Desmond-Fish Public Library still awaits (demurely) a banner image.
Is this something I said I would do years ago? I'm very sorry, I have no record of it in my emails.
When this story is wrapped up online, I would be very interested in reading why this was a tough project, and where the writers block came in.
The answers are very simple, and linked - Destroy History is hard to write, with a lot of research, exposition and contextual understanding required on the part of the reader. Writing about real lives in a funny way is dangerous. And this story was hard to draw because it featured a lot of likenesses that work from multiple angles, multiple times - very challenging. A huge amount of character design. And at the heart of it the reader has to care and one of my struggles with this story in its original 2022 form was that it didn't give the reader a reason to care. I don't know if I fixed this and I don't want to know because it's too late now.
You could say Cilla left a “Surprise Surprise” for the party
Thanks, John! I gobbled this one up because I needed a bit of a boost, and it did not disappoint.
Very glad to have offered a boost.
Happy Sunday indeed! Thanks John.
