Read SOLVER #14 (WOBBLY HEAD pt 3/4) in full now
Happy Sunday, subscriber!
Well, here we are, part 3 of Wobbly Head, where a lot of things are made clear. Or clearer. No one can say I didn't try to provide absolute clarity. You can download your PDF under the cover art.
Part 4, the senses-shattering conclusion, runs to an over-generous 24 (rather than 22) pages. It will arrive in mid-April. I finished the script and rough layouts just this morning.

This was so good, I am excited for the conclusion!
My baseless guess was the child of Shelley’s agent who would have overheard him complaining about Murder She Writes and blamed Lotte for doubling her dad’s lost clients. At least I got the snowy setting for the inciting incident right.
Mostly I’m just glad that Sonny is not involved because I still want his parent’s fears about Lotte ruining their Christmases for decades to come turn out to be true.
As silly as it is for me to say given its fleeting appearance, and especially given how great every page is, but I am struck by how accurately you've captured Sheffield station 😆
I'm dead broke. I thought for sure it would be Katya Schloss and I bet the house. Another life ruined by Skelottie
She's very wicked, Luke, you should know that by now!!
I really liked this! It was nice to get an old-fashioned, classical sort of jewel heist mystery as the background for the character-driven story. Wonderful drawings throughout, too.
LAA!!
So we now know who!
Does the flashback sequence take place after or before the Wen-Tack stories?

Absolutely fantastic work as always! Very much on the edge of my seat until part 4 comes storming into our inboxes!
En-Croy-Arb!
Thanks Johnny, I look forward to also reading them in the daily drip feed. Feels like two for the price of one.
Fantastic! And love the fore-literal-shadowing on page 11.
Since Bad Charlotte appears to have already existed back then in the form of an inner voice, it makes me wonder just how long Beate’s been riddled with jealously over our favorite Grote
This issue is the answer to that question. I wouldn't take the shape of Bad Charlotte too literally, I've drawn an abstract notion in a way that a reader with knowledge of the story can recognise what it is. I could have slowly made this presentation of an inner voice look more and more like Skeleton Lottie in pts 1 & 2 but there aren't enough manifestations in this comic to make that clear.
Thank you!
And just when I thought I couldn't love a John Allison cover more than Wobly Head Part 3!! Masterful Job!!
God, I'm so torn between wanting to run barefoot through all the pages NOW, and restricting myself to seeing them as they appear online with the comments... Why do your comics have to be so GOOD!?! Gah!!!
Exactly my predicament.
Epic!
