Something Dark coming next month
Hello friends, Adventurers and Merchants! We are really happy to finally share with you the final designs for the next month, coming about day 3 July.
Here the video trailer of the Ashen Inquisitors! Perfect as proxies for Dark Elves, Eldar, Drows and even Vampires. As always we like to write down some lore to justify these new themes in the universe and brand we are building together month after month.
At the center of the Scourgelands rises Nikeza, the largest and most "sacred" city of Tialevor, the Tyrant-God who rule in thie era. It is there that on an enormous crater stands the imposing Ashen Throne: an immense pyramidal stronghold held in flight by a powerful spell. On its top lie the bones of Ghaomir, the ancient Dragon God revered by humans. Proudly, at the center of his huge rib-cage, sits Tialevor the Tyrant-God, who reigns supreme over the Scourgelands. The feared and menacing Ashen Inquisitors, from the full plate enchanted armor, built with the hardened ashes of the Old Dragon, keep the lower castes submissive and make sure that no insurgencies arise: freedom of thought is not tolerated in the domain of the Tyrant-God. Togheter with the Soulless Ashen Priests, they assist the malicious Valykka, the bride of Tialevor, on it's crusade in finding and eradicating the birth of new cults; as it is known from the legends that the old gods Tialevor has vanquished may resurrect if enough people pray to them.
So yeah, this set is composed of really bad guys, and we made sure that they are really useful as proxies for many games as drows, dark knights, dark elves/eldar and vampires with jthe right color scheme.
Luckly in our 3d printable miniature line there are enough mighty and wise good heroes to vanquish them one day :)
Now it's the time of testing and fixing, 3dPrintingPro started the supporting and with his feedback we will make these designs actual clean 3d printable STLs. It will take some time as this pack is huge, but we will surely finalize everything for day 2-3 of the next month as always :)

I wouldn't mind seeing a second hair style for her too.. A 16 inch mohawk would be a bit much for me to use her in placement with he others.. But I'm guessing it would be to much getting supports under her too..
could we get an alternate hair style for the model on the throne/cart?
I just hope I can get Morvakka to ride the drakeling sidesaddle.

love it, i personally love the models with out faces ( like with helmets) i printed all the scourgeland survivors with helmets and i intend on printing the helmeted hero’s in this one too i love that you guys always have ones with an without helmets keep it up
I've been wanting to print something akin to Warhammer dark elves and these are perfect!
could II put in a request for a left hand holding up a heart (cut out with the modular dagger right hand), maybe burning and non burning? plz, pretty plz? :)
The cloak on Khaladas is just wicked! Other characters will envy it so hard!

Overall I dig the new set. I'm not fond of the Mohawks, but I respect the artistic decision. Its different, just not for me. I'm sure you are already completed with the set, but a couple different hair options instead of Mohawks would be sweet. Again, love the models!

The set looks amazing! Since they are proxies for Drow, any chance we could see some hand crossbows for the modular figs since that is one of their signature weapons?
Could always use the ones from the scourgeland set, or the dwarven oathbreakers!
Is that a (hob)goblin pulling the cart on the right-hand side? I would love to see more of whatever that model is in the future. Can't wait to get these guys in the slicer for printing and I also now have an overwhelming urge to play some Conan Exiles for some reason. 🤷🏾♂️

This is amazing. I don't typically print the pin-ups (not to take anything away from them) but this time I'll probably need to make an exception!
Is there a chance to mount the Chariot on the Raptor? With bows, crossbows, or other ranged items the could "Count as" the Order Serpentis Drakespawn Chariot, or Scourgerunner Chariot. (Not to mention with the Hydra, and the whip people newly introduced...) Now all we need is a giant black dragon with a mountable male and female hero from this set and voila! The Sorceress is a Sorceress on Black Dragon, and the male is a Dreadlord on Black Dragon xD :P
Everything looks great. Surprised we can even give the altar slaves weapons! If I could make on request, it would be to have a helmeted version of Khaladas, especially the mounted version. With helmets on the mounted one we could make a whole unit of cavalry then!

I just started supporting your Patreon this year and am excited about these incredible sculpts! I love the Variety of themes and the availability of modular composing once printed. Somehow there always has to be a "but". Maybe its just me but to me it seems that the female models all have the same face throughout your publications. Not the same expressions but they all have sort of those pushy pinup/pornstar faces. Im not into asking for face-variety for each model but is it possible for you to give some females a less stereotypical look every now and then? Or is this a core part of your style? Im not a sculptor myself so I cant estimate the necessary amount of work. Those male expressions and varietys are awesome though :) Im heavily looking forward to printing those Alfars for some serious darkness in my campaign . Best regards from Berlin
This is a very good set. All I ask for is give me some way to get more of the modulars onto the mount so we can make a unit of riders- not just this set but in general. These mounts are far too cool to see only one made.

Honestly amazing, I want more ashen.
Above there is a comment about cavalry, well if the mounted heroes has a helmeted variants, i guess we can make a cavalry regiment from it. And if there is a helmeted/"nameless" heads in each of your set, we can make every release a huge army. Though, i think maybe it's hard to make helmets for every race available in the lore, some has very distinctive head.

It's ok but hmm... it's just me or many of them looks like old models with new head and armour? Spears looks like dwarven ones, new mount is so raptor from amazons to the point it almost looks like armoured raptor, the jumping hero is a jurakin pose, spell hand is used dozens of times already. Chariot is so cool however :-)
sorry but how could we ever use a Jurakin Pose? Making from scratch a pose like the leaping jurakin yes, that was the idea. We make dozens of models every month with 2 arms and 2 legs, it's possible that sometime some poses could be similiar, but they are all new sculpts. We manually make poses, don't use any software for rigging or animation. New mount have in common with the raptor the fact that is a lizard with two bigger back legs and two smaller ones in the front, that had been sculpted from scratch too Bodies, faces, armors, weapons, all had been made from scratch

As someone who started collecting miniatures about 15 years ago with dark elves from GW i can now claim that i have come full circle, great release, i think i will print whole units of these.
Wow! I'm blown away by this set. They look really fun to paint. A lot of nice shapes and textures.
Oh my !! I love them all ! The next 2 weeks will be really really long...
For the most part I love them, but there are a few concerns. I assumed the beast would be modular to pull the shrine, but I'm comfortable converting that idea if I want it. I honestly don't like a lot of the gear though, it feels human and not elven. The swords are mixed, shields and specialist stuff are great, axes, maces and dagger just don't register as elven at a glance :(
Well, they are "dark" elves.
I'm usually not a fan of Elfs, but these ones are very cool. I'd like to ask you to start including once in a whiile the option in the polls to revisit old sets. I mean, the mounted hero here is very cool. I'd love to have in the future another monthly release of a set of Dark Elf cavalry, for example.

Nice looking set as always... I was thinking (dangerous, I know) but is there a possibility of modular heads so that the characters could have helmets or not or just for more variety? Thanks for making the sets as coolas you do.
every inquisitor comes with and without helmet already :)
Really really cool, small niggle though the ropes on the front of the soul harvester would slide off those thorns/spikes! Perhaps consider curving them away or making them rings?

looks REALLY nice :) Little suggestion (if you are not too far in the design stage): consider a version of the "Raptor" beast with a harness as to tie a couple of it to the chariot/thone instead of the 3 slaves :)
