Flokir the Skald freebie
Hey guys! Quick post with a freebie for you to download! ^^
Do you like the updated version of Flokir from the set of april 2019?
This Flokir is Presupported by Renato Tarabella, who will be in charge of presupporting the old releases, while 3dPrintingPro is busy with the Ashen Inquisitors release (dark elf proxies) coming next month, wich is huge :)
We really hope you like the new version of the dwarf minstrel, featuring a new cape, a spell-book and a unique axebow!
Cheers!

Hey where did this guy go? Can't find him on Thingiverse anymore other than one of his weapons :(
I finally got to print this guy. can i still get the updated file for the horn and axe bow? both failed.
I am having the same issues with bow and horn, despite multiple attempts to increase exposure time and reduce lift speed. I can't help but to feel that the supports are too light as the supports in some of your more recent supports appear to be heavier.
I have attempted printing the pre-supported version of this model 3 times now and the bow and horn rip off the supports each time. I think there are not enough bulky supports. I am getting a 100% fail with the models ripped off the light support. I am going to attempt to add in some bulkier supports and see what happens.
thank you so much! We will updload an updated version shortly
Oh snap, it's been more then a week. I didn't think I had this tab open that long... I'm assuming that this will be released as part of a full Dwarven pre-supported set eventually? (just checking, as I may just wait until then to update everything at once)
yes, he will be part of the Dwarven presupported Set :)
Just wondering if the supports were updated since last upload? :)
Yes, the axebow supports had been updated :)
You should probably know, a lot of people print these models at 90% instead of full scale, some even 85%. So the supports should be big enough that they retain their effectiveness when scaled down. Greg does a really good job of this, and he has a new video on making Light supports work better. If you haven't seen his videos i highly recommend them. I printed out this guy at 90%, and though I didn't have anything fail, i noticed the supports as they were originally were not printing in some places when it was scaled down as i normally do.
yes Patrick, Andrea told me that. I've implemented now thick supports that guranteed that all will not detach. I'm still learning from my experience with photon S.
Same here, 2 crossbow : one is hanging on only one support, the other is in the VAT... (printed on 0.025).Anyway, thank a lot for the effort :)

I can't get the supported crossbow to print :/ supports a breaking :( the rest is printing fine.
Hi Gingerfreak, i'll support again the crossbow with bigger supports. We'll update Thingverse with it.
Great model! Any chance to get chitubox files for him? There are minor errors in supports, for example around 82 and 83 layer (on 0.05) there are some floating supports in the air.
Hi Ibas, seem a deleted part of support. Chitubox, sometime, leave there polygon parts of deleted support... there are some bugs in this software.
more dwarves! thanks!
Amazing, thank you
Thank you for your amazing effort!!
Are the bases going to be pre-supported? I noticed none of the dwarves in the Oathbreakers set have their bases supported.
Every set after that one has supported bases
Modular horn too. Time to make some full command squads
New book and cape woosh nice!
Continuing to amaze. Thank you!
Merci !!
I love it!
Thx a lot !
Nice job on the supports Renato! We all appreciate your hard work
