Corporate Development Memo 6/15/2026

Hi everyone,

Just updating another week of Karlsson's Gambit!

I didn't have the best week but managed to do ok because of a few reasons I'll list below.

1) My computer power supply went dead on Friday and I did get it fixed by Saturday night but I lost a little rendering time. But overall, still did 100+.

2) I made a fatal mistake on about 25 renders and am having to redo them (I can't post process fix these but just need to re-render) and they are rendering right before I sleep here so I'll at least be caught up but it really frustrated me badly this week.

Overall: 103 renders, 2370 renders.

I wanted to include a few pics from those 25 renders but I'll just minor spoil and say it involves sub Kane, Doctor Chastain, and Elena. It kind of continues from prior room/pics from last week but not in that office we saw.

I started the secret sub path this week but it's more a set up scene. This is both very worth it but also rough to write because it is all branching stuff. I will give a minor spoiler example since these flags do exist already. For Alessandra speaking to Kane in this set up scene, I had to account for some examples in different renders/dialogue:

1) Alessandra (is she on romance path or not for this path?

Within that path, faction A or B lean, or neither? (kind of three branches here)

Within that -- did Kane agree on dom side at all with seeing Olivia a certain way (or not?) (kind of two different branches here too)

2) If no romance, a lot of the same flags again and different dialogue to account for all of that again. So I kind of felt myself making 5-6 similar renders for Alessandra discussing things a certain way. While I love this branching overall for a narrative, I can admit it's harder to write because I am trying to make them all unique but feeling similar all at once. But I always do my best and think I've managed :)

But I firmly believe that these branches have to be different (I have seen lazy devs use the same picture for four choices) even if they are similiar as expressions can really differ in how the vibe works, etc. So I do make sure to do unique renders even if it's say two branches off the same tree. (I have included two pics of Alessandra speaking as examples -- she is saying similar info but different choice flags, etc.)

I am hoping to finish in June a lot of secret sub stuff and wrap up this Doc/Elena scene as it's a nice break for me to shift back to dom after secret sub is up.

It's really late here so I better stop while I can sleep but I'll keep grinding!
