Corporate Development Memo 1/18/26

Hi everyone!

I am attaching to this post a version of the walkthrough for Version 8.31 of the game!

It is still something I might want to tweak a bit but generally I tried to go through it well enough so that it didn't have any super glaring errors except grammar/formal writing type stuff versus content.

I'm getting back into the swing of things and spent a lot of this week catching up on life while I was away. I especially had to finalize a ton of stuff like my driver's license, other paperwork, and legal stuff for being married now. But I did a lot of outlining for the next update and even managed to do some rendering a bit although I consider kind of this week coming up my "formal start date" for Episode 8.32. (I tend to clock this once the Android version and walkthrough come out)

So I kind of call this week's work Week 0 on my own PC for render sorting.

I did manage to do 34 renders as a quick head start on Episode 8.32!

I would like to think about trying to do a fun poll next month with voting and scene ideas but I am open to new ideas/suggestions if people would like to try something else. :)

The walkthrough is an attachment below. Just download it and enjoy! I know it's long and not super well done but this is not my best style of writing for sure. It's very hard for me compared to writing dialogue and narrative. I still tried to do my best and I hope it helps people understand a little bit more about my thinking behind things I do! Any feedback that can help make this document better is appreciated! The document is 8.31wtv1slavev2d and ready to go! I always throw some fun art at the end so enjoy that too.

My plan this week is to: (i consider from tomorrow my formal start as "Week 1" how I organize things on my side)

1) finalize a release for a smaller file size version of the PC/Mac versions on Itch. (it's limited to a smaller compressed file size so I can't release them as a full 14GB version.)

2) outline more of Episode 8.32

3) formal writing/work on the update and try to get my pace up to normal speed and get used to everything again!

4) post eval process of 8.31 and make a report mostly for my own eyes to help me for later work.

I also keep saying each update that I want to do shorter updates but always end up going too long. I really am trying this time to consider a better approach but I want to put this all together before asking for thoughts/feedback. This is my fault about how I feel "comfortable" about updates.

Ok, it's a holiday here tomorrow but I still might wander into my office and get some quiet catch up work done while my staff aren't around!
