People pronounce "Arab" "a-rab" in a lot of places. Including McKee's Rocks, PA, the "ghetto" of Pgh. I've been told that it's the murder capital of Pennsylvania, but I don't believe that. Maybe Western PA, or per capital, but Philly has to have more murders than a podunk town north of Pittsburgh. Anyway, the population is primarily Black, and all of them call Arabs "a-rabs" in a denigrating way. It's fascinating. The town in Beechum County, Alabama, as depicted in My Cousin Vinny, is called Wazoo.

I asked all my friends and family if they have ever heard about this murder (and we’re big true crime fanatics) and none of us ever have. And it was like a running joke between me and my best friend about how to actually pronounce it. Pretty fucking funny.

But, this was a sloppy investigation and that’s always unacceptable. Blue states have their problems too. Hell, every time I hear of a person being murdered in a blue state. It’s ALWAYS by some guy who’s literally, been arrested 70 plus times. All violent crimes. But barely did any time in prison. That’s also so unacceptable. Then, we have DAs in sanctuary and non- sanctuary states. Instead of charging illegal immigrates. They don’t want to hand them over to ICE. So, they’ll drop the charges, quietly. They don’t even contact the victim. They just say “oh, the witnesses didn’t wanna testify”. But local journalists have discovered. That’s not true. These people are just trying to protect illegal immigrants from deportation. At the cost of the victims. That’s really unacceptable also. Wish there was a better way we could discuss this and come to a reasonable compromise and agreement. Without hating each other all the time.
