I Don't Mess With Scales - Kevin Mitchell - Part 2
This week, we continue the story of a baseball MVP, who can't seem to stay on the same team. His past associations begin to haunt him, when a man who was living at this house, is arrested for the murder of a police officer. But before he could even be traded, he's arrested for a most horrible crime. His attitude becomes a real problem, along with his ballooning weight, which caused one witer to label him "both roly and poly". He also considers quitting the game, but stays. Will his attitude get him run out of baseball??
Allow a cop killer to live in your house, get on the nerves of most of your teammates, and eat until you're too scared to even step onto a scale with Kevin Mitchell - Part 2!!

Firebells are a WPBL team. Women's Professional Baseball.
When they said "it's probably a minor league team" I was audibly repeating "it's the women's league... It's the women's league!" Then they moved on and I felt the frustration flow through me. WPBL needs all the exposure it can get right now.
Love when you do In Their Own Words. Music as delicious irony, like playing the world's smallest violin behind someone's verbal poppycock. (What a word lmao)
Oatmeal
Lmao this episode was so funny. I work overnight at Walmart and found myself laughing out loud with some of the fat jokes while stocking shelves. Omg a Dove bar! Haha
Was hoping they’d cover the story Harold Reynolds told about him missing a game in Detroit when he was with Seattle because he had to play QB at home in the “Ghetto Bowl” a story he confirmed
Why don’t you just give us the name of the book…..you just read read read
I'm really good friends with Jerry Hartless's brother-in-law. Small world, there are now 5 episodes that I have personal ties to. Crazy!!
Dusty Baker is still alive and recently retired from the Astros. I think I was at the game
There are 3 older white couples with slingshots in wheeling, West Virginia. They always have the stereo blasting.
The slingshot discussion made me laugh. My white friend is married to a black man who is late 40s and they had a slingshot, but I think they sold it when they first moved to Mexico. They have moved back to Sedona now, but I don’t know if they have a slingshot again. However, my white friend loved driving it until her health conditions forced her to stop just cause she wasn’t safe behind the wheel.
Like James I bounced many people from bars and later provided personal security. You quickly become skilled at deciding if diplomacy is your best bet when dealing with an individual. Kevin looked like a guy where diplomacy might be your best bet!
Ok guys, you sure are dogging Lincoln nebraska quite a bit lately. I am a Beatrice Nebraska native and I totally agree with you🤣🤣
I’ve only seen middle age or older Black men in those damn slingshots. Usually blasting music. Must be the new midlife crisis vehicle for those who kinda want a motorcycle but don’t want to die.
Because West Virginia never disappoints...... There are three older white couples who live in wheeling, WV who drive their slingshots around all summer long. The one is at an auto parts store twice a week. But advanced auto doesn't carry parts for those. They are made by polaris and you have to either go online or to a Polaris dealership. Still haven't figured out why anyone would want one of those.
Will Clark is from New Orleans, not Mississippi. He did go to Mississippi State, where he was an amazing player. He is a jerk, from what I hear. Just clearing some things up!
Wait, why did people think Jimmie was an asshole? Can't just drop that in there and not clarify- it's like reviews where people say "you wouldn't believe what she had the nerve to say to me!" but not say what that had been! And Jimmie has admitted he's grown a lot over the years, and you both talk about owning up to bad behaviors/decisions... Boooooooo! Sate my curiosity!
Quadruple amputee professional cornhole player does crazy murder. Have they talked about this already? They must have talked about this. https://www.espn.com/espn/story/_/id/48677092/how-amputee-cornhole-pro-friendship-ended-killing
They don’t usually talk about famous cases, plus it’s still going on so would have to be a future episode.
