BONUS - WORST STADIUMS
This week, James and Jimmie discuss some of the worst stadiums of all time!

I live in Raleigh NC and agree 1000% about summers here😫 I’m from Vegas and miss just being hot, not drowning
I saw Billy Joel in Raymond James Stadium and our seat were so high there was concrete from the roof blocking us from seeing the stage. Edited to say: I was wrong, we saw Billy Joel in Amalie Arena (which is now Benchmark international Arena). I don't think I've ever been to Raymond James Stadium actually.
I don’t think SLC needs a baseball team but it’s gorgeous and perfect temps here in Oct, it’s probably the best time of year to visit if you aren’t trying to ski.
I am well familiar with Tropicana field and Nassau Colosseum as a kid. I wish they would’ve talked more about the hurricane that ripped the entire roof off of Tropicana Field and then they put the same roof on it again. Now they’re talking about moving to Tampa and I’ll believe that when I see it.
I'm 42 and I grew up in St. Pete and have lived in Clearwater the last decade. I was around 7 when the Tropicana Field (named the Suncoast Dome then) first opened and my grandparents took me to the grand opening with Kenny Rogers and other weird crap happening. I remember as a kid being lost in a tall sea of drunken Floridians, trying not to get stomped on, while lasers flashed and confetti dropped. Horrible idea to bring a child to this, lol! It hasn't gotten any better since, hahaha! Oh, the shame this area brings us.
You forgot to include how during Hurricane Milton 2 years ago, the whole top ripped off of Tropicana Field! I work in a hospital that's a block away and was working Hurricane Ride-Out, so we got treated to watching the roof rip off from the 10th floor of our building, it was crazy! Then they paid millions to repair it because the Rays needed somewhere to play until a new stadium, which was already in the works, could be built. Only the Rays backed out of the deal with St Pete and are now most likely moving to Tampa.....
Surprised Sam Boyd stadium in Vegas didn’t make the cut. Went there for Supercross a bunch of times and it’s absolute trash. It was the only stadium in Vegas for many many years until Allegiant was built
Sponsored by flex tape! 🤣
There’s 28 MLB teams, not 30.
I love these guys. I’m grateful I have finally learned not to be eating while listening!
Honestly, they need to old yeller the Angels and the A’s and just give those charter to other cities. No reason for more teams.
How did jimmy pick up on “the big owe” ? 😂😂
My HS graduation was in the old Texas Stadium. Thank goodness it didn’t rain that night. Saw Pink Floyd there when it did rain on all those people on the field, I had seats in a suite lol.
I own a piece of the roof from Tropicana field
Next time you bring this topic up please include Oakland coliseum. Between Al Davis adding his “mountain of seats” that killed the view of the Oakland hills, the sketchy parking lot (and surrounding area) and the bathrooms…my God the horrible bathrooms 🫣
Axel Rose had a similar blowup here when he instigated a mini riot after starting a Guns and Roses 2 hours late, 2 hours where everyone had been drinking to pass the time, came on stage, people booed heckled and threw things he stormed off after having a visual temper tantrum and mini riot kicked off that Garda riot unit was put on standby over. Was years before Guns and Roses played here again.
Montreal stadium was built for the 76 Olympics
Omg! There are 30 teams in MLB!
“Let’s look it up” *deletes paragraph*
You could probably do a bonus episode on Veterans stadium and the large number of people who played there that developed glioblastoma and died of brain cancer. The turf may not have played a factor but it’s a crazy weird coincidence that multiple people developed a rare brain cancer.
I bet the Oakland California stadium will be on here.
I live about 5 minutes from Tropicana Field ("The Trop") and it is indeed a shit hole. It got a little nicer after Stu Sternberg bought the team and fired Lou Piniella. Now they're moving the team over to Tampa after the City of St. Pete told them to go fuck themselves and pay for their own damn stadium. I was a die hard Rays fan at one time, but as James said, modern baseball is unwatchable shit nowadays.
Thanks for the Flex Tape idea. I need something to fix an eavestrough downspout. Now I know what to get!
We Flex-taped our pool and it held for 2 years. It's good shit.
Listen to James talk about baseball is fucking exhausting. I stop the episode most of the time. They've assfucked baseball into unwatchable? Really? You dont like it as much as when you were 10, but it's baseball, not you becoming a jaded adult. Okay
It's interesting that you are ok with posting your own negative commentary regarding James point of view on baseball but he isn't afforded the same luxury. You're allowed to be dissatisfied with something (and express it) but no one else is? Kinda weird you want to control what people say & express how they feel 🤔
1) im aggressively sick of billionaires "needing" public funding to make a new stadium they are going to make money hand over fist in. 2) 30 years is *not* old for a stadium Coors field is 33 years old and still a fantastic ballpark. We dont need to keep wasting resources building new stadiums when they are fine. ESPECIALLY ON THE PUBLICS DIME. And dont give me that shit about how much it helps the local economy or they will just leave, blah blah blah. No it doesnt. No they wont. Or let them if they are that big of man babies
3 divisions of 5 teams per league equals 30 teams
Oakland has to be on part 2. From Al Davis fucking up the entire ambiance for baseball with his mountain of boxes and unusable seats to the legendary urinal troughs.
Oh we definitely need a part 2! They didn't get to Cleveland 's Old Municipal Stadium. Another great show guys. Thanks!
here with jimmie — Flex Tape will ruin yr life, you just won’t know for a long long time!!! fwiw i grew up in a hardware store my fam has run since they moved to the US in the 1920s, so i’m not being an alarmist. I used it and i’ve never heard the fucking end of it, but at first it was truly incredible!
Don’t need a part two tbh 😬
Ok I’ll buy the flex tape 😂😂
Cool, looking forward to part two!—good job guys!
Jimmie is stoned..sue me for slander, I dare ya! ;)
The FlexSeal family of products are mid The seal doesn't last
You could also revisit Montreal for part two of Weather Games for the Ice Bowl/Staples game in 1977.
Just visited The Big O in May They're doing a lot if restoration work on it currently And there's a lot of repurposing of the facilities there Biodome, for example Worth a visit But yeah...the place was shit for baseball
Was built for "other shit" like the 1976 Olympics
The absolute best part of this episode was James being sold on flex tape ,lol !
There are thirty teams right now in Major League Baseball, guys.
Which they said....so what's your point?
Apparently my wife stood in Olympic Stadium. Her grandma lived across the street.
FedEx field is awful
I went to Tropicana once and a rat ran across my feet, lol
If you hate sports so much, James, why are you still doing this show? I still like the show but the sportsball-level of soapboxing is getting annoying at this point.
If something is shitty, call it shitty
When James asked Jimmie “you know what terrible baseball field we’re headed to, don’t ya?” My first answer was Tropicana 😂😂
Tropicana Built 1991.
This was such a good one! Thanks, guys! 🤩
Nassau Coliseum is the the square box you piss in (or shit - depending on how bad you gotta go) within the porta potty. I saw a hockey game there once and two concerts. Fuck that place.
You should do best stadiums and if Wrigley isn't there, I will cry.
I was so excited when I saw this episode was being uploaded. Before I even queued it I knew Tropicana Field was going to come up. The absolute unintentional bit I didn't see coming was James going on about flex tape. That was truly fantastic to hear. 😂
Arlington makes me mad with their "we need a new ballpark every 20 years" bullshit
Same here!!! When I heard a new stadium was going up I was confused then I was incensed. The other one (literally right across the street from the new one) was perfectly fine & still felt new to me!!! What do they use it for now? Anything?? What a supreme waste of money.
I live in Vancouver and they are talking about bringing a mlb team here lol
Jizz that's on fire! I'm dying
I have a piece of 3 Rivers from the last game before they tore it down.
🍒🎉
