Progress Update: 09/07/26
Hello everyone! 👋
I put together a little video of the new merged version of various map features I have written both finished and new. The new project is called Advanced Maps, formerly known as Advanced Map Features.
These have been the most heavily mentioned and requested features by far. It is the continuation of Row Crop System + a new embedded version of PF Config that will add a whole new set of features in that area as well.
The new version adds the ability to use RCS with implements besides planters, quick set up no-till planted fields with Easy Dev or gsFieldSetState (cheats must be enabled), more lenient spacing options (game still runs on a grid, though, remember), exact node to row placement options, ground texture specific row thickness, within row spacing options, allocReg/TiledBitmapOperator fix, custom PF spray handling, and more.
Foliage Destructions and some enhanced soil/spray mechanics will be coming soon as well. This is a bigger project than it looks like, which is why it eats up a lot of my time developing/testing.
I will also be going over some updates to the Patreon itself. One thing I will touch on again is the shop. You're not really paying for scripts there (scripts are not mods). The money pays for my time and tools required to do all of this + provide the real time support that I do.
The shop was added based on feedback from my members as an option to follow a single project's development without needing a monthly sub. This is, by far, the cheaper option for people who don't need support or real time updates and just want to follow a specific project's development and try out the WIP builds. You pay the equivalent of a one-month sub (or less during sales) and unlock the ability to follow that one project's development permanently.
So monthly sub for members that want support or real time access to everything I'm currently doing. Shop for people that just want to follow specific projects. Pretty simple. That being said, I do plan on doing something there for things that are soon to be merged with this new one, and for things like UnitConvert where I just have not had the time to go back to.
Remember, I only do what my members request, and I can only do one project at a time. Whatever is getting mentioned or requested the most is the one I focus on.
Anyway, that's enough for now. More as I get more finished.
Later!
