Hello everyone!
Just letting you guys know that I have arrived back home in the States. I'm busy setting everything back up, so it might not be until Monday before I am running at full steam again. Lots of reorganizing to do first, and I'm more than a bit jet lagged lol.
That being said, I am going to move forward with this next Row Crop System beta run. I am going to start it in the higher tiers just to keep things controlled as I dial everything back in. Collection owners will also be able to try out the new version at their leisure with or without a membership.
Another thing that I have mentioned on the Discord (not sure on here yet) is the gradual merging of like features into single mods. For example, PF Config will be merged with RCS and Default Types to make a single ACS (Advanced Crop System) mod. The configurations will remain the same, so there will be no need to "reconfigure" everything when this happens. This is more of a QoL thing, giving me the ability to manage and tie these multiple systems together from one place. If a map is not configured to use one of the features, it just won't load. So you won't be running a bunch of dead code if you use Default Types and not RCS for example.
Anyone who purchased ANY of the collections included in the final will have access to the new merged mod as well. In this case, if you purchased the RCS collection, you will automatically have the ACS early access and related posts as well. No funny business here, just need to get these all over the place requests and reports consolidated. This is an easy way to do that.
Again, this will not be happening all at once, it will be more gradual and (hopefully) seamless. It will be similar to the FS22 "Advanced" line without the need to download a core and multiple modules. It will just be a bundle of feature scripts for a specific thing like maps. If that makes sense.
Anyway, give me the weekend to catch my breath and get things here sorted. Come Monday, we'll start talking more about what I have done and what I plan on doing.
