Understanding the shop
Hello everyone! 👋
I already covered this a little in this post: Upcoming Changes: 01/09/26 | Patreon — but I wanted to go over it again to clarify things a bit.
I was told the last post was still too complicated, so I used ChatGPT to simplify it even more. It should be noted (and probably noticed) that I’ve been using it lately to reword/simplify posts in an effort to make them as easy to understand as possible.
✅ TL;DR
Two ways to unlock locked content: Membership OR Shop purchase
Membership = tier access while subscribed + Discord access + real-time support
Shop purchase = optional permanent unlock of that collection (even if you have no membership or cancel membership later)
Anything using primarily public/shared assets is always free
Discount codes can pop up anytime (usually when things change) and reward people who follow updates
All custom work is intended for public/free release when finished — early access = beta/alpha versions sooner
🔓 Free vs Locked
✅ Free items
Free items include anything using primarily public/shared assets, as well as most info/news posts. These are always free for everyone, regardless of membership or shop purchase status. Public releases are also always free.
🔒 Locked items
Locked items are only my fully custom content. This includes early access to custom scripts, as well as related documents/tutorials/etc.
🔑 How to unlock locked / tier content
You can unlock the same locked/tier content in either of these ways:
Option 1: Membership
Unlocks all tier specific content while you’re subscribed
Membership also includes Discord access + real-time support
Option 2: Shop
Buy a collection one time
Unlocks all locked items (including future items) in that collection permanently
No membership needed for collection content after you have purchased it
💸 Discounts (codes)
I’ll sometimes post discount codes for the Shop and/or Membership.
They’re meant to reward people who follow along and read the update posts. They usually show up when something changes, but they can pop up anytime — either here or on Discord.
🌐 Public releases
All of my custom work is planned to become free/public when finished — early access just lets you use the beta/alpha versions sooner.
Hope that clears things up a bit — later!
