Quick Thoughts:
Hello everyone 👋 While I'm waiting for my tests, which have been moved up to Friday and Tuesday respectively, I thought I'd quick throw my 2 cents into all this debate about what should be what in the "modding" world. I'm not trying to be a part of all that politics because, quite frankly, it's silly. In all the decades I've been playing "moddable" games, I have never once tossed my keyboard around, held my breath, stomped the ground, and threw a tantrum when something I wanted required a subscription or some kind of cost. I either got it or didn't, that simple.
I can't count how many times I've watched people throw ridiculous amounts of money at a game or phone app for gems, coins, shards, crystals, outfits, skins, dances, and/or emojis lol. And that's their perogative. I've even done that myself from time to time. So trying to say these guys who spend countless hours making things that are way more advanced than an emoji should be forced to do it for nothing... well, it's just nonsense.
The simple truth is, if the game is sooooo terrible that you are getting that angry that you can't have every addon thing that people create for it, you should probably find another game. Or learn how to do it yourself, like I did. You bought the vanilla game, not the time of hundreds of other people that create content for it.
If everything written for something else was owned by the something else, then Microsoft, Unity and Epic Games would own every single piece of software ever written that used either Windows, the DirectX API or the Unity or Unreal Engines.
I could go into all of the details, but I don't have time for all that foolishness. Just 2 pennies and nothing more lol. I actually ran on longer than I wanted to. Just had to say my piece.
Have a good one!
