If the first startup of the launcher triggers a 'Windows protected your PC' message, click 'More info' and 'Run anyway ' .
The Wild Life launcher will take care of downloading from a custom server for you. This still doesn't include patching as we aren't quite there with that system yet, but it will download from a custom server so you d on't have to deal with different confusing file hosts and their limitations anymore. Our goal is to run the entire build distribution via the launcher someday.

Hey Steve, as a fellow Steve, I'm hoping you can help me out with what or where I've gone wrong.. I got the main download (full build 1) and the launcher just fine as a new member, but when i fire up the launcher, the ~25gig download gets about 3.2-4.4 gig in (on multiple download attempts), and then I get an "exception error" (specifically: " An error occured during a WebClient request", and it goes no further. Any ideas ? Thanks mate
Hey Steve, It’s been a long time. I don’t know if you remember me, but you used to jump into Discord calls with me and teach me animation back in the day. I just wanted to say thanks. A lot of what I’m doing now traces back to those conversations. You were actually one of the biggest reasons I decided to start making my own corruption game with a female lead. I ended up going in a different direction and making an AVN instead of an Unreal Engine game because I eventually realized I’m nowhere near as good at animation as you are. Still, thanks to the lessons, advice, and inspiration, I’ve managed to build a pretty successful game of my own, and honestly, I probably wouldn’t have started if it wasn’t for your help. It’s really cool seeing your game finally approaching the finish line after all these years. I know how much work goes into projects like this, and seeing you stick with it is genuinely inspiring. Just wanted to stop by and say thanks for the help all those years ago. I’m rooting for you, dude. Looking forward to seeing where the game lands when it’s finished.
