Too Many Acronyms
Sometimes it feels like CSS properties and values are way too long and require too much typing, they can be intimidating... but don't fall to the temptation of turning them into acronyms! There are already way too many acronyms (TMAs) in the corporate world (and in the outside world) to make things even more confusing.
Many of the acronyms I used are a bit forced, and I didn't know half of them. Innocent naïf me had to do some research online for NSFW (not-suitable-for-work) acronyms, and I fear the type of ads that I'm going to get in the short term. 😅
In a comic that is a bit absurd –like most of my recent creations for comiCSS–, I like the line "Oh! And Linda from HR!" It's silly, innocent, and naïf (like me :P)
I did a version of the comic that included chairs, but I found the scene too "crowded" with them, although I'd like to find a way to introduce them again:
What would you do? Keep the chairs? Remove them? Change them?
-------
This is it for the next comic. I hope you enjoyed it. This week I'll be adding the hippopotenuse cartoon to the site. I shared it here and on social media, but never added it to the comiCSS.art website. It will go live on Wednesday.
...and after that, more of these comics. After creating the html web component library, I have been creating more and more of these comics, and have a backlog (or is it a waitlist?) of comics pending minor changes before they are ready to publish. If I keep sharing them at a once a week rate, I will have comics and cartoons (and games!!) until mid-October.
