Suddenly hearing German words when English is being spoken always surprises me as a German. Like at 3:38 with "kaputt". Is this word actually used regularly by English-speaking people? If so, why's that? I mean I can understand it with words like kindergarten, zeitgeist, or schadenfreude, because these words don't have an English equivalent. But kaputt seems so random because there isn't a lack of English words to describe something which is broken. Or is it just a thing between you and Greg since you've often been in German-speaking countries? Mate, you really got me intrigued there, Tom, with your random use of the word "kaputt", haha.
idk who told you that zeitgeist or schadenfreude is a commonly used English word lmao. I have literally never heard those words in my entire life and consequently have no idea what they mean hahaha
Just wanted to say my first car was named Athena, now I know she's named after a legend in the series :)
