Tom falls off his bike, and the couple get extremely hungover [Frankfurt to Munich Bike Ride #4]
A $4 Tier production
Subtitles available
Having spent the night in some spooky castle grounds, Tom and Verity attempt to take a big off-piste shortcut through hilly forests in a bid to shave off miles. The shortcut would have been a success if it weren't for Tom's thrill seeking antics, which had him eating gravel. Far from civilisation with open wounds that needed cleaning, Tom had better hope that his bike still works..
A couple of days later in Munich, Verity and a bandaged Tom are lured into a wild night out that involved numerous shots of Jägermeister and karaoke songs. They pay the price the next morning when they are forced to cycle to a distant Decathlon..

I understand it is much harder for Verity to do more adventures with you due to your kids. But it would be amazing to see you and Verity do another challenge like this again. I love your content. I have just joined your patreon, and oh my god, it is absolutley amazing. If i knew before about patreon i would have done it a long time ago. I am currently in the middle of doing my own "no roads" mission in bristol. I am currently in leigh woods trying to find a way through. You are very inspiring and i hope to meet you one day.
Late to the party, but loved this series, and seeing more of Verity and you together. The ultraquick glimpses of the soldier from Geo Detective in the very last bit was a great easter egg. And loved the story of the proposal, albeit in the wrong town. At least you got married anyway 😁.
Dude that 420 euros sobered Tom up immediately
That made me feel hungover watching that. Great series. Cheers Tom
Love these!
Great series!
What a great series. Now I want to go explore Bavaria and drive the Romantic Road. Thanks Tom, for another great piece of content.
The Ulm cathedral is internally one of the prettiest churches I think I've ever seen. It also helped that it was 35 degrees out and it offered a nice cool break from melting to the pavement. Funny that you inspired me go on a train trip to Munich, Salzburg and Ulm among other places and then you went there just a few weeks later!
the shots of Bavaria at the end were like a cherry on top
