How far did I walk from my house surviving solely from coins I found on the ground? [COINS #4]
As my legs finally begin to give in and this happy go lucky adventure draws to a close, we ask the question; how far did I manage to walk? And how much money did I find lying on the ground in total?

If you have gotten a proper hot meal (the best you could afford) I wonder if it would have done your legs good and you got a bit further. Maybe some fruit or other food for electrolytes as well
Loved this, I wonder if a reverse one where you can only exist on the kindness of strangers would be interesting - perhaps with a rule that you can't take gifts from fans of the channel only strangers you inspire to help you?
Thanks for all the content Tom, currently on a mission of my own and got caught in a storm whilst sleeping on a bench with only my tarp for protection. Had to find a shelter, but no good for sleep, watching this episode waiting out the storm.
This series was awesome. What if you did a challenge where you went only based off of the suggestion of a passerby or a person you spoke to? Like you ask them if theres a cool place to go and then you go there
Thanks for this, I can't walk past the trolleys at aldi anymore without checking for quids.
I think you could have made it to London if you split the days up more and had more recovery but that would have taken ages-too much time away from your lovely wife and kids lol
So not only did you walk past my job, you also walked past my house, in Rugby! Insane!
I'm glad to see Verity again! Tom, wouldn't a Patreon video with Verity reminiscing about her experience with the channel seem like a good idea? If she's up for it ofc..
Loved this series
For the love of God Tom, please pack some hand sanitizer or a pack of wet wipes! Love this video - one of my favorites so far. Husband and I just took our first trip to the UK. We walked from Bath to the top of Solsbury Hill (my heart going boom boom boom). Thank you for the inspiration to find new adventures.
There’s something in the data there that says round coins roll further and are therefore more frequently not picked up after being dropped.
Nice going Tombadil. Maybe worth trying again in the opposite direction? Start from Wall Island and see if you can make Holyhead? Maybe even making enough for the ferry to Dublin? ;-) Or head up the A38 again, and this time push past Burton and aim for Hull (and back) ;-)
Superb series, man! :-)
I mean you could do series 2. You could start as if you didn’t go into that last shop to buy your last filthy meal 🤣 as you said the adventure wasn’t about your legs it was about how far you could get with coins! Start with the amount that you would have had before the big splurge and see how much further south you could have got. Surely London will be coin heaven? Love the adventure, hope there’s a part 2 😁 🪙
Really enjoyed this mate. You should link your strava to City Strides and which will map all your walks / run onto a single map where the aim is to walk / run every street. I slowly walkign Wolves.
Brilliant. I love the way you live your life.
Well...did she get her McFlurry??
Great videos 🔥
Epic series. I’d love to see how you’d fair over here in the US with the same approach. A ton more drive through potentials! I almost got ran over at a CostCo the other day as I saw a shiny 25c quarter on the road and picked that up raising it to the sky in homage to you Tom. Probably looked like a nutter. Appreciate all your fantastic content.
Great stuff as usual Tom - pleased to hear the not drinking is still going strong!
Some of the best content ever uploaded ty Tom.
Some day I hope to be as lucky as Jeremy!
Flytipper. That's a new one to add to the vocab. Absolute menaces.
It's a common British phrase
The roundabout was a French invention, not British!
McFlurry lol
It wouldn't be a GeoWizard video without some trespassing now, would it?
I'm loving this series, your content is like nothing I've seen before. So thank you Tom!
Thanks geowizard great series
Your Bear Grylls impressions are spot on and hilarious 😁
Brightens my day getting the notification that a new video has been uploaded
After the straight line missions, this series is by far the most enjoyable one. Keep up the good content Tom
Fancy that, the ideal post footy watch! Clever sausage
My body is ready
Absolutely loving this series, thanks Tom
