I attempted to walk across Greater London without using a single road
It's finally here; The London No Roads Mission, and it's not for the faint hearted.
Today I finally get to show you my maddest mission to date. A daring raid on a city of 9 million people, 32 vertical miles and countless tall spiky fences. It's Birmingham times 10, and I honestly didn't know if it would be possible going in. A few miles in I was even less sure. But I kept going, and the results are both thrilling and hilarious. Fasten your seatbelts and get ready for the ultimate urban adventure. A tale of endurance, stealth, stress management, but above all conquering fears.

Quick question, do you, or have you ever thought about using AI when planning your routes to your missions such as this one? Or does that maybe take some fun out of it?
Great adventure again Tom! Is it also that you get used to climbing fences when people are watching? No awkardness haha. When i watch your videos i often think of doing a straight line mission in the Netherlands myself. Who knows. Keep up the Nice work!
Hope that you always use the 16-Bit Adventure music for your missions. Can't begin to describe how iconic this has become.
Damn you went straight through the Paddock where I walk my dog. Gutted I didn't see you
I bought the album, Tom. Great stuff. Thoroughly enjoyed it
Goddamit I'm too late to the party and the vinyl is sold out 😭
I had just run 56 miles from my house in Oxford to my old flat in London the day before this got realised. Your adverntures always inspire me and it was nice to finally sit back and vicouriously enjoy yours! Can't wait for part 2.
Love the video, Tom, and looking forward to part 2. Say, have you thought of collaborating on an adventure with Ed Pratt?
love these videos well i love all of them, i just had to show my support and join the patreon. keep up the good work mate
Really enjoyed this Tom! Can't wait for the next episode, and this one was even more interesting as everywhere you went I know from my work, you even started the video right by my depot 🤣 I was like "I recognise that... oh yeaaaah". I checked back to see if I was working that day and sadly wasn't so didn't get a chance to see you on your travels.
Hi, I saw your plea and also became a patreon to support you. However I did have one question and that's why are there still adverts on the video if YouTube has de-monitised it?
he said the video will probably be demonetized, not that it had been. I'm guessing it's happened in the past and he's trying to mitigate loss by getting ahead of it
When is part 2 available mate?
Maybe I'm being stupid (or i was half watching part 1 at work) but I thought part 2 would be available to patreons but instead its just that any new youtube video is available a day earlier on here. Perhaps - and maybe youve trialed this before in which case ill shut up - it might be more enticing to potential patreons to put in the youtube video that if you want part 2 its on my patreon immediately. Regardless, im still happy to support and will now binge some older content. Been subbed for many many years but haven't watched in a while and this video brought me back in! Don't take this comment as me complaining either!
In my understanding, it was quite clear in the video
Excuse the double-negative but after your appeal mid video, I couldn’t not instantly become a patron. No idea YouTube would be such dicks that they’d demonetise these types of vids of yours! Love that even if it left you out of pocket you would clearly plough on regardless, as it’s all about the adventure for you 👍
Wonderful work! Hope the YouTube gods are keeping you monetised as long as possible!
This series is going to be one of the best! Can tell already it's going to blow up! Next round of hugs from the states for the beloved Sir Uncle Edward: Master of Maritime Mischief ♥️🫡
Maybe the best mission yet
Can’t wait for Part 2. Love this content and really appreciate the effort and passion you have for this. Just went back to see your old stuff to keep me occupied until the next part drops.
Incredible. Can’t wait for part 2.
Really enjoying this series through my city!! I literally took my friends "off-piest" at that The Paddock Community Garden bit as part of a pubcrawl recently! You were very close to the Bevertown Brewery!
Joined because I have watched your lunacy for a couple of years and just love it. Also, in 1982 I got a job in Saudi Arabia and our vehicle fleet was maintained by a Brummie, Pete Bardell where are you now? 👍
Great stuff! Excited for the rest of the series. I hope good brother Ben will make a return one day
Please keep the "mini map" oriented N to S for us poor, lazy bastars that are folling your adventures from the comfort of our livingroom. :)
Brilliant! Just signed up for the £4 membership felt guilty only paying the 1 membership lol
13:47 the pipe!
Amazing stuff mate. Are the other parts all edited up? I can't wait for the next episode!!
We all need an uncle ed
Nothing better to set up my weekend than watching you paddle across a canal in an inflatable uterus with a plastic lid.
just splendid
Great vid Tom and can’t wait for the next episode, lovely water bottle aswell🙌🏼got one myself after your promo
You beauty, perfect timing,
Hey Tom, the description of the YouTube video is missing the links you're talking about, if ya wanna fix that up :)
Finally!!!
World class. Though glad I don't live in London!
Really enjoyed that, thanks young Thomas. I'm doing a walk next weekend with as few roads as possible cross the yawning metropolis of... Rugeley ;-)
Uncle Ed fan club right here
Absolutely loved this mate. I'm from East London, so know pretty much everywhere you passed through so far, I even spotted my mate's tag on the canal. I looked at doing this after your Birmingham mission but deemed it impossible. Guess that's what separates the pros from the amateurs!
I read the title as "without a single word" for some reason.
What a fun video that was! Thanks for the content Tom. Are you doing tenner in my pocket this year?
I’m planning to yeah!
Haha you’re running my usual running route. Tottenham marshes
Bloody awesome Tom… been looking forward to this and you just never disappoint. Absolute Legend. 🙌🏼
6:56 Tom, I wonder how many times during your history of adventures you had to try to squeeze through or climb over something only to realize (or perhaps never have known) it was already opened…Lol
Is there a Buy Me A Coffee page or somewhere to tip? Id happily give another 4 bucks to help cover the latest YouTube vid.
Yes man, absolute elite post-pub material, cant wait. Enjoy your Saturday Tommo 👌
alternate title: "Midlander terrifies Londoners by saying hello"
When's Ed getting a Patreon?
happy easter!
Superexcited for this!
Hey Tom will we be getting deleted scenes from your latest mission with Marcus it was a epic mission

Letsss goo ive been so excited since you announced it gonna turn the premier leaugue off for this!
Well that’s my Saturday night sorted! I’ve been waiting for this one ever since you first mentioned it, Tom!
Been dying for this since you announced it. Can’t get enough of your content Tom, keep it up.
No roads missions are regular rewatches for me, been eager for this one since the moment you hinted at it.
Ooh, the straight line missions have been fun, but I have been itching for more no-roads.
Seeing the notification put a smile on my face!!
This should be good one
Just in time for lunch!
Legend! Been so bloody keen for this!
