Early Access // Monday's video on orchids...

Hello all! I'm still working through editing the video for the channel tomorrow covering the making of the Whitby gown bodice, but I have managed to get the silk orchid how-to together to go up this upcoming Monday. I figured I would give you early access as I wait for our air conditioner to quiet down so I can't hopefully get tomorrow's video finished up in the next few hours! 😅

This has given me some ideas for a steampunk costume I am making for the end of august, fingers crossed I have to give it a go!! Need to watch your original flower making videos for the spoon technique you mentioned although I’m tempted by the iron thing you have!! Thank you as always for these great videos!!

what is the amazing music playing (at the end). Could you please put a link to it? I always enjoy the music you use. And the orchids are amazing too, just not my cup of coffee. But so amazing, that someone does dedicate the time and energy and money to do artificial flowers in the complexity and attention they deserve (my great grandmother did make artificial flowers in concentration camp, it is one of the very few things we have from her).

Thank you Radka! I will have to open back up the video in my editor to grab the song name, all the music is always from a website called Epidemic sound!

There are some orchids that have a similar shape to these ones but in softer colors. Thought it might be nice to know.😉

I don't know what I need silk orchids for, but I do feel the need to make them! I love the gothy vibes of these!

Thank you Jen! I think they'd look lovely under a glass cloche 🤩
