The Verdigris Set & Some Design Details Up Close
Hello there all! I have been trying to recover a bit from some long intense editing days to get Verdigris up last week 🥵 I went ahead and took a few days of writing time this weekend to reset my brain and I think it's working luckily!
I grabbed a little tour of the set and some detailed images of the projects that will be coming up to the channel soon for you to take a look at today. I will be editing the leather jacket video to go up this week, and then the tie dye dress, golden brocade jacket, and stays inspired evening top will all be coming over the next few weeks as well!
Thank you so much for your support ❤️

You are so very talented! I love how you made the set. Am just wowed by that jacquard jacket. Can you imagine how much that jacket would be to buy? (If that were possible). You’re work is so inspiring 🥰 Sending best wishes from Down Under 💚💚📖📙🐈💐🌸🌺🇦🇺😎
Thank you Rhonda! It's the only way I could get couture for sure, DIY 😂✨
It was so nice to get to see the details of the set and learn more about the process of putting it all together. It's as much of an art piece as the exquisite clothes and together it's all amazing.
Thank you! ❤
The colour palette is so beautiful and inspiring- I hadn't thought of combining greens/teals/turquoises with rusts/browns but it makes so much sense and seems like a natural choice-perfection!
Thank you Caireen! I feel like most of the time turquoise and brown get put together it is in a southwestern way, which makes sense, but I wanted a more steampunk/Atlantis way 😂
Looks GR8 👍 as usual!
Thank you Marcie!
Where did you get the blue spider web by lace?
On etsy! From this shop this time https://www.etsy.com/shop/TinTiaraTrims?ref=yr_purchases&search_query=web
I love this color palet!
Thank you Julie! I can't quit it yet so there will be more on the way!
I finally had time to watch the lookbook (again late to the party, I always am) and it was so amazing I immediately rushed over here to watch this video. I love seeing the more up-close details of the set and also the outfits. but again you outdid yourself and as a brown and rust lover, even after working with the patina for months now with the watch company I work for, I still can't get enough, it's just the most amazing colour) the only downside of the lookbook was how amazing your hair looked and how I want to cut my hair short again, even though I know I'll hate it because I always do when I cut it short. I love the more masc styles, you look amazing in them!
Thank you! I still haven't had enough patina either, I'm going to do another selection called 'patina' later in the year 😅💚
If you hadn't already mentioned the Endor vibes you will evoke with the set soonish, it still would have come to mind at the closeup of the wrap top. Very much Leia in her rebel poncho, but much more fashionable. Might be my perpetual star wars brainrot though
The best kinda brainrot I say ✨
I agree with Cindy Martin- a crisper view of the clothing would be nice. I love the theme/mood you evoke but always find myself squinting to try and see the details that I know are there.
I will never use full light in any lookbook, ever. To me it is the difference between a classic film noir and a Taco Bell commercial. Full white light is used for commercials, sitcoms, and soap operas. I'm not selling a product. These videos are about presenting an idea, a suggestion, to invoke questions, not to glorify detail. It is supposed to be an introduction of concept, not a Talbots catalog. A poem, not an instruction manual.
I'm sure it's a labor of love and a lot of work, but the lookbooks are so dark. I'd love to see the lookbooks as well-lit as this behind-the-scenes video, but I get that you're going for a specific vibe.

Yey, writing took place👏🏻and the behind the scenes tour: I love this! To see what you work with. And the pieces *swoon* so beautiful, as ever. This colorpalet is one of my favorites for myself, so very much a fan of it all!!!
Thank you Diana! I have some more in these colors and similar fabrics coming in a few months as well 😊❤
I don't doubt modelling is exhausting, but you certainly make it look easy! I used to do fashion shows in the living room with my Mom and I was (am) an absolute clod.😅
Thank you Penny! It's lucky I just clip the best few seconds and don't have to actually act much 😂
This set is amazing! You did a fantastic job of painting and making everything look realistic it’s just mind blowing.
Thank you Mary! I just wish I had a giant space where I could keep every set instead of reusing the same one and having to paint over it 😅
I haven't watched the video yet, but I first wanted to congratulate you for taking some writing days!!
Thank you Jen! Still stuck on this one chapter that just refuses to come together properly 😫❤
I’m so in love with the brocade jacket! It’s beautiful!
Thank you Jenny! I can't wait to wear that one out ❤ The only trouble is it's getting warm here which is a bummer as I prefer suits and such 🤨☀
Very cool. How thoroughly do you plan your shots in advance? Is it storyboards or mostly vibes?
Thank you Cheryl ❤ I don't plan the individual shots in advance at all really, I just model as best I can (😅🤣) in all 4 schemes, full length in dark lighting and brighter lighting, and then closer up in both darker and lighter schemes. Then everything gets cut to music afterwards ✨
Amazing as usual :)
Thank you Susan!
Gah I love a good behind the scenes tour!! The set looks so cool, and I love hearing what it's all made of! I totally didn't catch the paint tray, lol that's awesome!!
Thank you Caitlin! Secret paint trays are cheap to sneak in 😂
