Murky Sneak Peek at the Next Lookbook
Whew.
In news that surprises no one, not one person, not even my cats, I am behind where I wanted to be with my schedule. I am SO excited about the sewing projects in this next lookbook, and I very much want to finally put everything together, but I also don't want to rush all of the embroidery to be done, which is creating a bit of a paradox currently! I can't wait to share the sewing videos, but I must wait, becuase shooting the lookbook keeps getting delayed.
I finally managed to finish up faux painting the set, and after three-ish hours of extra weathering I'm really pleased with it. You'll see the real colors soon enough! Do you want a full preview before the video comes out, or a set tour after it goes up perhaps?
I shot the first six looks yesterday, but today I'm flying to visit my grandparents in California for a few days with my mom, as I haven't seen them in several years. I'm so excited to spend some time with them, and I also feel so behind on work so that it's not the best timing, but with me there is never a good time to be away from my studio.
I love my work, so there really does need to be more hours in each day so I can accomplish more of it 😅 I know you are more patient than I am, and I just want to deliver the coolest projects I can to live up to your tremendous support.
Also relevant update for this month's Patreon video: It was almost ready for my usual upload date of the 20th, but then my reveal footage was entirely out of focus, so uh, oops. I will have that up on the 21st for you as soon as I get back from San Diego!

Sometimes life gets crazy and you can't help it. Also, you always deliver and I mutch rather wait a (few) day(s) than you overworking yourself too much because we all know what will come will be amazing and definitely worth the wait. as and aside can you do a draft of the dress the sword holding lady wore at the coronation was wearing! I think it is just and a shift but I can’t figure out how to attach the cape thingy. Thanks

One thing I’ve learned over the years, the work will go on but the grandparents won’t. So enjoy your time with time.

Hi, I agree with Kera above. Anything you want to do is more than fine with me. If you really twist my arm for an answer, I'd go set tour, but that probably will mean more work for you, that you don't need. Have a lovely time in San Diego. A still photo with sunlight in it would be very much appreciated for us up here where the sun don't have the vibrancy you do, but only if it's not to much work or to much loss of privacy. Yours, Ann

Any content you want to share is always appreciated. I don't want you to burn out or overextend yourself ever. I love being part of your support team and yes we are more patient than you no doubt. I'd love you to enjoy your time with family and take whatever time necessary to meet your strict standards. Basically, just breath a sec, and then maybe do that 1 more time 😁💙🤗
