Dispatch no. 37 - Walking Around the City of London
Instead of my usual dispatch, the podcast, this month I have a short walking tour of one small section of London. I am now in the midst of convincing my cats I won't leave them again, doing laundry, and completely rescheduling my existence, but will return to you sewing shortly.
Thank you so much for your support and giving me my dream job. I hope I can convey a little of why I love London so much in some videos I have coming to the channel soon.

Very enjoyable and sorry you got the rain! Possibly better than the heat we're getting at the moment though which is lovely in the countryside but I can imagine a bit sticky in a city. London is always a trip to see an exhibition or museum for me - this has made me want to factor in time to do more of a walking day or two. Thanks.
Just got round to watching your tour report! Really enjoyable thank you.
very late to watching this because life. but I am so happy to see you enjoyed your trip and I love the walking your. I am happy you got to go to st. dustin and that you filmed it, the next best thing to being able to go myself but seeing this video did make me realise I really need to find money somewhere to go back to London.
I wish I wasn't so much of a homebody. The history of the UK has always fascinated me. Thank you for this!
I want to go back so bad 😭
It's fascinating looking at my home town through your eyes. I love the place, the little alley ways and hidden gems. I usually end up with neck ache from just looking up.; above the shop fronts to the beautiful buildings they're housed in. So many people who work in, live in or visit London just never really see it. Thanks for giving your Patreons a snap shot of 'my' view of London :oD
Since my tickets to England were booked for 10 minutes after the big Q commenced, I got to stay home and draw instead. Fortunately got reimbursed by airline. But I'm glad you got to go. I watched the queen's coronation on TV in 1953 (when I was 9) and saw the queen and Prince Philip in Nanaimo, BC in 1959, so watching videos of other people's trips is enough.
Thank you so much for showing us this tour of London. I know I’ll never get to see it for myself, so this is the closest that I’ll get to it. I love history and know I’d love London. As you know, Australia doesn’t really have old buildings compared to the UK. If those walls could talk… Sending best wishes and cold healing vibes from Down Under 💚💚📚🐈🐈⬛💐🌸🌺🇦🇺😎
We share so many interests. I've been following and dreaming of joining the mudlarking community for years☺🥰
I've never been to London, so I appreciate the tour!
Thank you for the tour! Toronto has some good Brutalist architecture and Spadina subway station has a walkway like the one at the Barbican. I, too love dry cider and sitting in empty old churches, good stuff. Gee, you could do PBS programs, so well done!
I really need to spend more time in London. A week just isn't enough. The Barbican is amazing; I'd love to know what the insides of the flats look like.
Thank you sooooomuch!!!
Thank you for showing london, so many places I have missed and will need to see when we revisit. It Brough back wondering memories of our trip there in 2019. Hope you recovered quickly from your cold and it didn’t ruin your trip. ❤️🥰❤️
I now really want to go to London.
Love this! Last visited London in the 80s, Really enjoyed your photo tour on Instagram.
