And the Mandragora gown is complete! At least for now, I do have a little bit of this silk left, so anything could happen ✨

Thank you so much for your support and making my work possible.

Oh my goodness!! The bodice turned out beautiful..love the eyelash lace and the pics turned out great! I understand the love of school supplies I get a new box of crayons every fall just because lol! ( I do end up giving them away to little kids that visit along with a coloring book) You make your own rules and it was so interesting to see how you sew in your boning! Quite a bit of work and very well done!!! Thank you

Hi, A beautiful bodice. Not really a surprise that it came gorgeous, as it was you doing it. Talking about bias tape. I haven't been able to find out how much extra fabric you need to buy if you Want to make as self bias binding. Say for instance that I want to make 5 yards of 1" bias, how much extra fabric should I aim for, please? I would be most grateful for any light you can shed on this problem How are your eyes doing by the way? Do they still hurt from your makeup. I hope that they have sorted out their issues and are more cooperative now. Your makeup is just fantastic. By the way I said that I think I found a place where you can get your fabric pattern printed to almost any type of fabric. If I understand the instructions on how to do it you might be interested in a company in the UK. Here is a link to the page Contrado.co.uk . At the moment it seems like they have only one thin Viscose that they are working with, but I believe that I saw others that were thicker earlier in the year. The same goes for their wool. I remember seeing more then one type earlier in the year when I was lookin for crêpe. I haven't ordered anything from them, as my medical issues are getting in the way of any sewing again. At least I can say that I'm on my way to become a fairly decent theoretical sewist. All my best, Ann

So unique and very you! Royal Doulton should make one of their porcelain lady figurines after this gown, or your Cicada one for that matter. When you began the Mandragora project several months ago, I couldn't remember the name. I kept wanting to call it the Glockamora gown, as in the song, but now after all these bodices, I remember the name! Lovely, detailed, creative work!

Oh, it looks sooooo beautiful! I didn't notice anything poor about the photos...they all looked great to me. Seeing you run down the stairs made me gasp...so happy you made it w/o falling. The bugs on the chest looked great! That look is not for me, but it looks fitting on you and especially that dress. All of the hard work you put into this grouping was definitely worth it. You can wear these mix and match pieces to any dressy event; even the day bodice. Just stunning. Thanks for taking us along on the journey. It was so much fun to watch this all come together. Congratulations!

I loved it when you were running down the stairs! The cutest puffy sleeves evarrr!!! I agree - stunningly beautiful evil witch core!!! You should take on bead wiring to make your own tiaras!! I’m sure everyone would love to see it! The lace and the finishes were perfect!!

Can imagine you waltzing away in this gorgeous gown. Lovely peacock colour scheme with the blues on the bodice. You would fit right in on the set of Gigi, one of my absolute favourite movies.

Thank you Karin! Sadly I have no waltzing ability 😂
