Early Access // This Week's Video
The Mandragora hat! Or more importantly perhaps, the full costume finished and worn outside in the cloudy twilight where the fading sky was causing some interesting effects in the camera. Some of my photos actually came out looking almost like recolors of black and white photos before I even opened them in photoshop. I'll post photos of this costume up on my blog later in the week when the video goes public!
Thank you again for making large projects like historic costuming possible for me, these silk gowns are a long time dream come true for me to create ❤

This hat is fantastic! I love how it looks with the Mandragora gown.
Absolutely gorgeous! The whole ensemble is just right! Love every thing about the Mandragora style, silhouette, colour, the hat…just gorgeous! I’m partial to the 1890’s. Sending best wishes from Down Under💚💚💚💐💕🇦🇺😎
Your Mandragora ensemble is a delight to behold. Stunning in its design, embellishments and color. And I love the way it moves too. Also, I just love the outro piano piece. What is it? Thanks much.
Fabulous!!!
Hi! Great Job. Where do you film. House is gorgeous! Almost as gorgeous as your gown.
Beautiful. That setting is a great back drop.

The whole outfit is stunning, but the hat is fantastic! It looks like a giant, spiky moth landed on the front and I love it.
Stunning!! I guess I'll have to make one now!
gorgeous hat. And what an incredible final outfit. Also, most small taxidermy birds are going to have been found already dead, not killed for the purpose, so if you really wanted to...You could also maybe get a fairly realistic fake one?
That hat is wonderful.
Puffy sleeves! Huge hat! Spider webs! Buckle on the hat! Your silhouette in that luscious gown! Opulent!!! I did cry when you showed the reveal. And that amazing moth on the front of the gown. Will you add moths or other insects to the hat temporarily depending on what gown you wear it with? Since they are pins? Your hat making skill has me very jealous. Do you own the Alexander McQueen book/catalog from the museum show?
I cried, too...what an enchanting, creative journey!
that hat is full mental. A+++ perfection.
Aaaaaaah! I love it already 😍
