Incorrect Tier Tiles Related to Pledge Increases!

Hello all! So with the help of a patron I have discovered a glitch in the system! If you increase your pledge (thank you btw) by increasing the amount instead of selecting a new tier, Patron may not recognize the change in tier on my end, which is very unfortunate!

So for example if you are signed up at the Curator tier, but increase your pledge to the Preparator amount without selecting the new tier, the internal spreadsheet dealio doesn't recognize the tier change from the monetary amount increasing. Hopefully that makes sense. So if you want to go up a tier, it is better to select the tier itself instead of increasing the pledge amount on it's own. It doesn't make sense that patreon doesn't just work and recognize the new tier by itself, but I can imagine these things are difficult to code perhaps.

So, all this to say, if your name is supposed to appear in the end screen credits (Preparator and Conservator tiers) and it hasn't been, this is what's going on, and two, let me know and I will correct it! I am so sorry to have discovered this discrepancy.

(Also, I download the spreadsheet of names by tier directly from Patreon these days for the credits so that I make less typos and don't misspell anyone's name, but now I feel betrayed by the spreadsheets!)

Yours worked actually! ❤ Thank you! Also, I guess I don't know why it upgrades the tier sometimes but not other times...oi 😅

Patreon not automatically recognizing the new tier actually has a purpose! Sometimes people offer physical rewards for a higher tier. If someone wants to support at a higher amount but doesn't want the physical reward for whatever reason, this let's them easily do so. Saves creators having to keep track of supporters who don't want to be sent stuff.
