Early Access // Field Notes Vol. 2
In Field Notes vol. 2 I travel from Moab Utah to Palm Springs California, visit 2 national parks, and get to check something off of my 30 before 30 list...even though I am already 30. It still counts okay?
The next one is the downer where I lose my kitty and the trip takes on a bit of a different tone for me, but until then, more nature at least. I'll fill you in on everything in the podcast very soon but I'm doing okay for the most part I promise. Thank you for your support and well wishes!

So cool. Joshua Tree is my favorite National Park, I would have loved to see it in the rain. Oh, Figure 3 are California Quails! They are very cute and abundant in that area and what's not abundant at all is turtles and yet you managed to see one, how cool!
Thank you Laia! The quails were so cute but were running away from me 😅 I can't blame them!
I have thoroughly enjoyed the first two installments of your travels. I'll most likely never see the parts of the country you're traveling , but I'm so glad to have see it thru your eyes. It's been wonderful.
Thank you Susan ❤
Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!! Loved it all...the music and scenery together brought tears to my eyes at times. Just stunning....and the outfits were perfect for each location.
Thank you Peggy!
I have so loved these… you did a wonderful job.. your a gifted artist!
Thank you Natalie!
You are so dang talented. Your eye for design makes for wonderful video footage of landscapes, and I love the music you are using. Great story flow, and you look right for your environment, whichever it may be. Such a joy to watch. Maybe you could do more field notes videos from new adventures. Like look books on location, even if close-to-home....hmmm.
Thank you Denise! I hope I can have some field notes from future locations soon for sure! ❤
I love the American West. It is so immense and dramatic. I have loved all my trips throughout the very same areas you're traveling through in these vlogs and it is fun to see them through someone else's eyes but also feel like you're on the trip as well, somehow. Such a lot of work for you when you're supposed to be vacationing, though! Thanks for all the effort! <3
Thank you Myra! yes I definitely forgot to relax on my vacation 😅
This was so enjoyable!! You do such a great job filming all the beauties of the wild west and because of you I get to tag along...There are so many parts of California that I have yet to see but look forward to one day exploring. Me, being from Syracuse NY, it took me awhile to get used to the different vegetation and critters in California. I can't wait to see all the goodies you brought back! Thank you so much!
Thank you Margo! I actually want/need to visit different parts of NY soon because I always see gorgeous Victorian houses for sale out there and need to see if I'd like it out east...
Amazing. It rains there (Palm Springs) maybe twice a year, tops, and you were there for it! XD Seeing these places through your eyes, I almost want to go back. Maybe that is a credit to your filming.
Thank you Amber ❤ Somehow I got both rainy days somehow 😂
Hi, Again, thank you for taking us on your travels. I so thoroughly enjoy it. So, do you have a verdict on your GoPro yet😉😊? Anyway, I do look forward to the next installment. Oh, and it's a yeas about the trousers of course. Yours, Ann
Agree with everyone about your cinematography being top notch; Once again, perfect music selections. No drone? Who cares! Loved all your outfit choices. What an amazing adventure you've shared with us...and to think there is a part 3...can't wait.
Thank you Victoria ❤
You really have leveled up! And, I must say your choice of music is spot on - so many people ruin nice videos with annoying music. I spent a night in Joshua Tree in 1996… Halley’s Comet in one half of the sky and the full moon in the other. Truly an epic place. I admire your guts doing this whole trip. Good to see you value your own dreams 🧡
Thank you! ❤ Sounds like quite the night time view for sure, I'll have to go back when the skies are clear so I can at least see the stars!
I come from the western part of Norway, and it is a place where it rains often (like most days). Your exerience with bringing rain to the desert reminds me of when we went to Nevada in 1998 ( think) and the part of Nevada we were in had the heaviest rain-pour in 11 years, of course. Sigh, we can't escape the rain :P
Oh no! You figure going to Nevada you'd be safe but the rain was having none of it 😂
I agree with Thea Maia, your cinematography and editing are levelling up and the results show! I loved seeing the flora and fauna. I think you picked the right time to see the desert, albeit hot, because the rain brings out flowers that don't bloom until it rains. OK, I'm going on Aussie deserts and 'assuming' it is the same there.🙃 I loved the glorious sunset. Was scared for you being out in the desert after dark. Can you imagine what it must have been like for the women of the west, with their long dresses/skirts, coping with the heat and everything else (and usually pregnant)? Tough women! Stay safe. Sending best wishes from Down Under 💚🇦🇺😎
Thank you Rhonda! I was definitely impressed with the wildflowers everywhere, so many gorgeous yellow sunflowers growing wild on the side of the road!
Very enjoyable love your field notes
Thank you Trudi!
Such an amazing trip you are having. Awesome locations and love how you talk about each area you go to, as I am in Australia I am learning so much. Have enjoyed seeing your outfits also. Can’t wait to see the next instalment of your holiday.
Thank you Carmen!
Oh wow Bianca your cinematography and editing are leveling up! I loved seeing what you showed us. And I didn’t get sick this time so a big thank you! I cliched my pearls when you showed the vintage store with the hat boxes for miles! Route 66 was so cool through your eyes. Squirrels can be scary little bastard so watch out! I’ve never done more than drive through Palm Springs. But I haven’t been to Joshua tree since I was 7 or so and got my head spiked to the bone by one of the huge cactus. (My dad put me up on his shoulders and OW!) seeing the clouds and the drama of the rain was amazing. Thank you sooo much for these glimpses.
Thank you Thea! But oh no on the cactus situation!! They all look very scary 😬
You got Route 66 and old car footage!! 🥰 You sure did well here and I can just imagine the thoughts that must have been going through your head as you stood alone, atop a cliff overlooking the Grand Canyon. Live big, live strong, as I like to say! Glad to hear you're doing ok these days.
