Making an Iridescent Holiday Party Outfit ✨
Why? Why did I decide to make a super simple little iridescent holiday party-worthy outfit?!? I have literally /no clue/. You know those old commercials "this is your brain on drugs"
Yeah well, this is my brain "on escrow", and it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
I cannot wait for things to go back to normal, and when I say things, I mean my stress levels, becuase of course--everything else is (hopefully?!?) about to change.
Seeing as I will not, in actual fact, have a single holiday party to attend over the next few months, I do hope my brain re-starts instead and I can plan some super exciting projects to share with you soon. Thank you SO MUCH for your patience with me. The final 1890's corset is all finished (even the lace trim and flossing!) so that will be coming to the channel next week! I also hope to film a patreon exclusive update on all house/moving things once I FRIKEN KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON...ahem, aka, once I have an update to share, you'll be the first to know.

I really don't think I am alone in saying that you will be in my thoughts over the winter holidays. You will not be alone in spirit on Christmas, wherever you are.

I was curious, so did some googling. The Youtube channel Raleigh Realty has a video from July of this year about how to show proof of income as a self-employed individual... and given that they are a realty firm, perhaps they would be willing to advise or consult with you? A call to ask them for advice but offer to pay them for their time? You are right, it is much better than one on a modern machine. If your have other Singer accessories, I'd love to watch you demo some (or watch you figure one out), then hear what you think. It would be less a product endorsement, more a vintage homage/revival. Might be a good option during your move (see what I did there), as you wouldnt need most of your equpment, set, no modeling etc.

I haven't even started to look at the video yet, but I needed to assure you that the whole Patrion, or at least me as you know that I have problems to speak for others than myself, are sending you Luck, and Hope your way. You don't need to work as much as you do, we know what's happening in your life at his time, and at least I don't mind not getting any videos straight on schedule. If there is anything in your cute top, that I want to react on, if not, then... you come up this liite number. You go "I still some fabric left so I made a pencil skirt to go with it". Are you sure you're not an alien from outer space, here to show us how things should be done? I mean the teasing in the kindest possible way of course. You really know how to tame impossible fabric. And then right after, you're sitting in your new house and thinking, "WHAT HAVE I DONE!!!" But luckily, it soon changes to "I'm so glad I bought this house!"
You know what could be an easy video that might help. Have you ever thought of making a simple video on how you plan out your project and how in- advance you plan them? Or even a “this is how I decide on what I’m going to make for a look book” anything along those lines. I ask, selfishly, I want to make more during a year and I have all these ideas but I tend to only get to one or two things. I thought maybe, seeing your organization and thought process might help. 😊
