Sam is so stupid. MLB players use standardized bats, they're all made of the same wood, but shaped for each player. Bats you can buy at Walmart are obviously not always regulation, and are not for pro players. GOSH

Baseball guy here. Fat guys belong to certain positions bc some don’t need to be as athletic as someone like a shortstop or center fielder. The bats, in the mlb you can only use wood and it has to be certain length and weight. And as far as the fancy bats, that’s just the product of capitalism and corporate greed, however most leagues do have regulations for safety. Metal bats are banned in the mlb and the minors. And the increase in price is correlated with greedy ass parents who THINK they need their son or daughter to go to all these traveling tournaments, said tournaments are stupid expensive. And when you get a hefty majority who think they need to do this is what drives the capitalist extortion.
