A movie club instead of a book club is a much better idea tbh. A full novel can be a big investment but a movie is only 2~ hours of investment. Also, steal stavvysworld's thing and have us gossip about our lives in the speak pipe so you two can give us terrible advice. That encourages normie viewers to pay for the patreon. Throwing in my 2 cents: You guys do your best work IMO when you are riffing off of experiences and stories you've had. Poobs house shenanigans where he pretends to be a real man. Sam deep diving the history of some ancient niche drug. Poobs ice-packed adventures in a gremlins costume. Your interactions with the other internet weirdos at cons. My suggestion is to go do more shit (digital or IRL), and then tell us how it went in the ways only you guys can. Bonus points when you do the things together, like the gun range or even letting Poob explore that weird second-life type lobby while you were podcasting. Stuff like this helps prevent the retelling of old stories, too. They might get referenced, but you'll be too busy talking about the things that recently happened to need to fall back on old stories. Mostly this is just me projecting my desire to do more stuff in my own life, but until I get my shit together, I need to live vicariously through you guys. More important than anything, though, is to do what you find most interesting. Viewers may come and go, but if you're following your interests, there will always be people there who also think that's interesting. Sam talked about this regarding his youtube channel, not wanting to be pigeonholed into a certain game like Tarkov. I love that sam posts about whatever game he's having fun with and sometimes even something like Blacksmithing. That's the shit, because your hearts in it. You can do the same thing with the podcast.

My main take away is that you don’t have to do more for the patrons, if you just do more for yourself. Sounds like you want to make more videos, so maybe breakthrough your editor qualms. The main way I could be satisfied is a master cut of all of poob’s moans and grunts. Shit gets me rock hard.

I think engaging fans on the side with poob would be great like interviewing random patrons and if they have interesting hobbies or something talk to each one (if they’re not insane) for maybe 30 minutes make a compilation of 3-4 and you’ve got an easy and quick multiple hour long podcast to fatten the patron feed

Been listening since it was just General Sam doing the podcast solo. Only recently became a patron. I still enjoy every episode and I’m happy to support you guys.

For legitimate feedback, I really enjoy the episodes where you two are enthralled with the guest's subject matter expertise while asking somewhat goofy but real questions. A great example from previous episodes would have to be the "toldinstone" one. You also hit a good nail with recommendation 2; ranking items of trivial situations or manner. Those are hilarious as you both riff off of items in front of you and relate it to a comedic situation. For some guests, it's obvious they have no clue what they're getting into and it shows when they're actually on. Maybe when reaching out to guests have transparency of what you guys represent. BLUF (bottom line up front) sort of situation. Not only would that help a guest decide early on which would assist in your timing. But it shows "alright maybe these guys are a tangible duo." It allows them to make a decision while allowing you guys to receive more swift responses. From what it appears, GenSam seems to appear chronically online for the most part. This could give you an edge on who to bring on before they absolutely blow up or before they get cancelled for some arbitrary social stigma that twitter propagates. Overall, my thoughts of Forehead Fables are very positive. But, to your point, there is room for improvement. My final thought would be having a set timing instead of some episodes being 2-3 hrs, and others being 1-1 1/2 hours. If you take the average, I'm sure you can split it up from there to allow for more consistent uploads (which would be a facade for more content BUT would satisfy the craving of wanting more.) In addition, the breaks between splits can refresh both of you with possible new ideas to discuss during that time. Thanks for listening poob, gensam hope you do too.

The episodes I enjoy the most are when it’s just you two. That doesn’t mean I hate when you have a guest on. If I can get a few good laughs out of an episode, I consider that a good episode. I like the guest episodes when the person can riff and joke around. It’s like meeting a friend at a bar or joining a discord call just to talk for a couple hours. I subscribed to the Patreon because I wanted more content. I’ve listened to most episodes while at work, and when I got caught up, I wanted to keep listening. I would like a set schedule for episodes, preferably once a week, released on Sunday or Monday so I can listen to it throughout the week. I’m pretty much generally satisfied. And I think $5 a month is a good price for what I get. Love you guys

Is there a noticeable drop of quality? Yes Is there a lack of giggles and knee slapping laughs? Yes It’s not all bad, sometimes you guys are able to make me do a quick exhale out of my nose. It’s awkward or autistically informative about stuff we did not ask for and does not match the funny format we are here for. SECONDLY just be more consistent, I get that Sam has more shit to do in his life but Poob you literally stream twice a week. It is pure laziness. You could do a patron only vid of playing horror games, or some one off co op game with a friend, cooking video, vlog style something. Bring Bryan back. DO SOMETHING. Ranking video sounds gay. My wife and I have listened to basically all of these and all of DOL multiple times over. We both quite enjoy the shenanigans you guys talk about. For 7 bucks a month I can't really complain about 9 hours on average of content. The only constructive criticism I can give is get a more consistent schedule and maybe an extra episode here and there. Dont kill yourself poob, a JOI would be sweet though.

i love you guys just shooting the poop. i think it doesn’t really matter when in the month we get the episodes because we watch them right when they come out and there’s three and then i wait three weeks again. i think maybe one more episode or mini to make that wait two weeks instead would be cool though. maybe a very light theme a month just to help kickstart some brain (not brian) activity, not a strict theme, because i think you guys’ spontaneity is what makes you special. i also think Gsam could be a little less racist too and complain a little less all the time because i feel like there’s been a pretty big uptick recently of that from him. just because the rightoids know where you live doesn’t mean you have to become one. maybe his grandma’s hospice caretaker is a person of color and that frustrates him for some reason. Poob you are doing great and our qualms aren’t with you. you work hard and this video is evidence of that. we don’t pay five dollars to get the value of those five dollars back. we do it because we love/like yall and the podcast and want to support it. also, the “not funny enough” thing is stupid. i loved the splinter cell video being over half troubleshooting. i loved the pseudo factor sponsorship segment at the end of last episode. i thought they were hilarious. also maybe put some collages on shirts on the papapoob merch store or some collagemaking vids on here i would gobble those up.

This podcast makes a lot of money so treat it with some respect I guess? -you are both great and I’ve been watching GS since prior to his fallout 4 series all those years ago, but brother please start recording the podcast at a time when you not about to just have dinner. -post more regularly throughout the month instead of it all coming at the end. For how much this podcasts makes it feels more like a chore for you both to record episodes now. Honestly, I love this podcast for being my microwave pizza rolls to throw on. That being said, it is annoying to have all the podcasts come out in like the last week of the month. I just noticed how much you guys make from the Patreon and I think people make some fair points. As a laid back patron, I think a weekly release or every 10 days or so is actually a good idea, and I think two patron episodes a month would sweeten the deal. Right now I feel like I’m getting 3 dollars worth of content and perks. Nitpick, because I saw someone say it, but every episode ending with Sam’s fat ass needing to go eat dinner is gay as hell. Record an hour earlier and be for real. As far as content goes, I enjoy you guys rambling. The tier lists were fun, guests are really inconsistent in quality, and that’s about that really.

This video did effectively move me away from wishing pain and suffering on Poob and redirected it onto Sam. Being busy with with family is crazy when he has a stay at home wife. Not a snowballs chance in hell he’s putting anywhere near full time 40hr week all month for these last minute episodes.

As we approach the end of the first quarter, I do think it's important that we acknowledge the trial and tribulations we are currently facing but think it is equally important to see where we have come from and the relationship we have built. First of all I really appreciate this, all id personally like is some more consistency with the schedule I tend to listen to this either for commuting or at work so it can be frustrating when its rushed out at the end of the month especially when its shorter as it means theres just more commuting ect time to fill and honestly hearing excuses for being late tend to be a bit annouying when I can see your turnover from patreon. Its not that I want to ruin your job but not taking it even slightly seriously is pretty frustrating to hear while I'm at work sweating my ass off. But overall I still like the pod but sometimes it can just get pretty frustrating when you seem to not appreciate the privileged position you are in doing this job. Book club idea is really good no joke. I feel like most people on here don’t necessarily care about the amount of guests or you retelling stories, just throw the patrons an extra hour or two of content a month, it doesn’t even have to be both of you guys on the video, just sit down and record an exclusive Poob tube video for the Patreon or throw us a short stream or a handful of 5-15 minute “mini podcasts” or whatever. Hey Poob, “read the wheel of time” guy here, but I’m gonna unretard for a minute to give some real feedback. In general, I am a satisfied listener each month, though the sporadic upload schedule does allow some frustration to creep in and taint the viewers experience of an otherwise good episode. I think that some further communication with the patrons would go a long way in easing their concerns when episodes are delayed or guests plans are foiled, patrons just want to feel a bit more special and seen than the general YouTube watching rabble. You clearly have passions that you talk about during podcasts, but obviously cannot act upon further due to the disconnect between yourself and Sam’s lifestyles. I would personally love to see you separately produce short videos such as this one to talk about a book series (wheel of time), show or movie that you have thoughts on. Something that does not take the place of a patreon episode (and thus resulting in backlash), but as a nice bonus for patrons and a platform for you to connect with people in the realm of your passions without the direct oversight or involvement of Sam needed. He should consider the same type of project for himself, in a way that is sustainable for his lifestyle. Also, get your friends and previous guests back on, we all notice how much it increases your moods and energy when riffing with people you have a genuine liking for, and the episodes usually perform well. Over the years the podcast has recommended some absolute banger media, I received a lot of enjoyment from My name is Earl and Buffalo 66 for example. This was due to both it being a very good viewing experience but it also having the Poob seal of approval and always appreciate more recommendations. Also, any more content to look forward to would be amazing. I get a very large satisfaction boost when I see a patron notification from you guys. The only time I have ever felt the need to eviscerate another man was when I was informed you guys “almost” had rusty cage. Poob, I would like to start off by saying I appreciate your transparency and willingness to improve from this presentation. I have been a Patron for longer than you were ever a guest and believe you have undoubtedly added value to the Forehead Fables podcast/brand. I am in agreeance that more content would only add more value; for example, fresh new stories, more themed episodes, episodes that entail drawing with a rant, more guests, or even slightly more structure in each episode (however I think there is a charm in the aimlessness of the episodes). I personally only just want more content other than just 3 episodes a month with potentially a more scheduled roll-out of episodes rather than them being sent out at the end or beginning of each month and leaving us needing to rewatch previous episodes to get our fix. You guys make $35k+/month from us Patrons and I may speak for every Patron when I say that that money is most certainly pocketed without necessarily improving the production value of each episode (While I also am aware that the simplicity and unprofessionalism aids in the 'down to earth' feel of the podcast). As a guest recommendation I want to see John Kiriakou on the podcast. He's an ex CIA officer for the U.S government and whistleblower for the U.S torture program he's been making rounds on my fyp and his stories are very captivating to me. I think his stories mixed with your unorthodox questioning would lend themselves to an interesting episode. Also I still think 'Steve's Symbiote Car' is your guy's best and funniest episode. TL;DR - I make this long ass paragraph to say that there is merit to how Forehead Fables Podcast is handled however there is always room to grow and improve by simply getting more content out there.

Poob youre a funny guy i enjoy listening to the podcast when they come out but let me tell you. I hope to god that your inability to do anything even slightly manly is a bit, because sometimes i get genuinely sad for you with how little it sounds like you can do. Love you tho. As for buying a new car let me help you out. You want a buddy, preferably someone who has worked on cars before but at very least they need to be confident in how a car works. Bring them with you and have them help you find a decent car that doesnt seem to have any issues. Once youve found something good tell the salesman that this is the first shop youve looked at and you want a chance to look around a little more before buying anything and when he askes you to throw him a number, extremely lowball him im talking like 20-25% cheaper than sticker price. And you need to stipulate that you want that as the "out the door" price. Otherwise they tack on a bunch of fees on top. When they tell you they cant do that price, leave i gurentee they will stop you before you leave and offer you a pretty decent price. If not go find something else. Personally i highly recommend toyotas. Hopefully this helps and i look forward to watching more podcasts.

This is probably honest to the point of being mean, but Poob lives a very unchallenging life of mostly sitting in his house and consuming content, so he doesn't bring much to the conversation, especially now that bar stories are gone. I'm glad he's not drinking like that anymore, but he hasn't replaced it with anything that's actually worth talking about, so it's up to Sam to fill in the blanks with family stuff, and when that runs out it's just talking about stuff they had fed to them by algorithms. Poob jokes about his lack of work ethic, but the podcast suffers BECAUSE that extends into working on himself, so he becomes less interesting over time as he runs out of experiences to draw on.

Me personally, I like the book/movie club idea, Mista Poob. Perhaps a movie a month and maybe a book every 2 months for the slow readers :D I do think this would improve my satisfaction. JOI, while intriguing, is perhaps a bit icky for my taste.

I also want to add that I do NOT want to hear about your star wars opinions. When Sam grilled you in an episode, you did not know what an astromech droid was. I will say awhile back when I made my series of long post giving aggressive constructive criticism the content did get BETTER and there was less speakpipe (Always a plus). I doubt my comments had any effect on the podcast at all but it did change for the better. Things have been good since then, only one speakpipe episode and multiple memorable giggles per episode with 2 hour episodes (Consistently)! I do wish Sam and Sam were maybe more willing to communicate. I know they get burnt out or are busy with other things and maybe force themselves to make an episode which results in lesser quality. If they just communicated with the audience and told the people what was going on I think less people would be telling them to kill themselves and more would be understanding of slightly longer time between episodes sometimes. Or just get stallt to do it I dont give a fuck just some kinda communication when things are going choppy on production side of things occasionally.
