Devlog 19: Changes and evolution

Hey there, it's time for our monthly devlog.

I've got a few things to explain and to tell ever since the last devlog.

Tales of Unity

First and foremost I began writing the update, the skeleton is full on done, the event course is prepared.

I only have to wait for Project: Jericho to be out to get started on renders.

You'll spend the update with Himia with whom you will rekindle alongside learning more about her past, and her family's legacy.

You will also get to see Mine and Ophelia again, alongside Ygritte, all taking time off their duties to support you in the coming trials.

I'd rather avoid disclosing spoilers here, but hey, you'll get to see old cast again, and with the poll's result Mine will get a scene, Trixxie might too depending on the story's needs and availability as she had the same number of votes as Mine.

Project: Jericho

I've been struggling a bit with work, rendering the previous dates pretty much obselete, I failed myself, I thought 3 month would be enough to get something out, while surely It won't be as bad a 18 GOD DAMNED MONTH, failing still stings a bit, but I've got to be realistic.

For now atleast, I can't afford to work as much as I want to, it's both a "mental" issue and a physical one, though the physical one shall be resolved soon enough, and I do plan on releasing P:J before 2024.

I'm on the last lap of the update anyway, so keep an eye out for it!

Stronk's stuff

Now, here's the interesting part, I lost two full weeks of work after going through a really rough time at home, both mentally and physically, I always get sick atleast a week in October, so that was to be expected!

But beyond that I decided to get a small part time job, nothing too large, but atleast enough to pay bills for a few month without taking too much of my free time, I came to the brutal reality that I no longer make 700€ / month using Patreon, that with the current state of my page I would need to sacrifice time for stability, now I'll still work on the exact same pace as I am right now.

Except I'll stop feeling too bad as my games are well, hobby projects again, now I'll be honest, I expect a bit of a bump after P:J's release & ToU's Beta 1 for 0.12.

So that might not last for long, I'm still quite ambitious, so I began looking actively for an appartment, It's INSANELY complex to get a flat in France right now, especially with barely any money, the said part time job only gives me 500€ a month, so while it's stable, it still isn't Ideal, Patreon is still my last leg and I will still work as much as I can without burning myself out to get stuff out for you guys, I cannot thank my pledgers enough, if I could give you the world and it's moon.

Chances are by spring 2024, I'll be in my own flat, sipping delicious salted water and rotten bread but atleast I'll be on my own and able to work freely.

Keep an eye out for any updates, I swear it again, I'll never give up on any of my projects, they will all come to fruition and I will do my best to provide the best story I can to you guys to earn your support and kind words
