Crisis Averted, For Now
Good… mornooning! This week was tough, I talked about it in my latest status update.
I worried a lot and tried to find a solution. Ultimately, I did find one and I felt much more relaxed as soon as I actually acted on it. Of course, there are consequences for this, but it was for the best.
We'll see what the future holds for me, if I can provide my own financial security through my own work, but I do know now that for the next 3-4 months, most of my time is actually mine to do as I wish, free of meetings.
While I was consciously dealing with that problem, I couldn't do much work in Unity because the work is so finicky if I forget a small detail while I do something it just gets messed up.
However, I did get a ton of writing done. I've actually wrote past what was necessary for this month's update, and I might actually continue doing this today.
Next week, I'll make a release, with whatever content we'll have in by then.
Slowly but surely, we're approaching the stage where we can enter the Night Club and begin reworking some parts of the game while incrementally adding content to the Night Club levels (there are multiple floors, I'm not sure if I mentioned this but we'll need to climb through all of them and each has their own "job").
Important thing is to not rush anything.
Thank you deeply for your understanding, and I will return on Monday with positivity rather than the negativity I've been keeping in ever since I woke up on Monday.
