Office Party Tech Demo Alpha Update: Roxy Needs a Hand!

Hey Partiers!

We've got an updated Office Party Tech Demo Alpha for you! Since the first build, we've been working through your feedback, fixing things, and giving you a few more ways to get into trouble at Vista Del Brah.

Before anyone asks, the new intimacy system is still in development and there's still no full blown sex in this build.. however.. Roxy does have a new reason to put your hands to work...

Roxy Needs a Hand!

Roxy could use some help applying sunscreen, and you can now do that yourself in a new interactive minigame. Squeeze some lotion into your palm and rub it onto her back. Your technique matters, and she'll let you know how you're doing. Very serious sun-safety responsibilities. We're sure your intentions are completely wholesome. Do a good job, and Roxy might ask for a little more. You never know.

We've also added skin wetness from swimming, showers, hot tubs, exercise, and uh.. other activities.. with gradual drying. A dip in the pool or a workout now leaves a little more evidence behind. The effect is currently very subtle and we may tweak it a bit more.

More Ways to Bother Your Neighbors

Your phone has more to do! We've added 121 authored text replies, including conversations and quest hints, along with unread-message badges and conversations that stick around when you save and load. These replies work with AI turned off. There's also a new My Info app so you can check your character's attributes.

You can also buy 11 gifts from Scamazon and give them to NPCs. They have their own preferences and reactions, so picking something they like might help your relationship. Picking something they hate is also an option. We support your freedom to make questionable decisions. If you are having a hard time getting through content because of a relationship barrier, these gifts might be just what you need to progress.

A Little Less Jank

We've made a bunch of fixes and improvements since the first Alpha, including:

• Better tutorials and clearer confirmation before skipping queued lessons.

• Mouse-sensitivity and field-of-view sliders, plus cleaner settings pages.

• Thumbnail grids and better previews when browsing designs, tattoos, decals, and images.

• Improvements to lighting, clothing coverage, pickup animations, and item handling.

• Save/load fixes for outfits, carried items, combat, and story progress, plus fixes for Zapped and Hair of the Dog.

And Chupito should stop getting stuck under the sofa. Our little sucker has places to be.

Graphics Issues

We've had a couple of reports of unusual graphics issues, and we're looking into them. We hope to have fixes for you soon. A couple of players have reported that switching upscaling from STP to Native cleared up some issues for them, so that's worth trying if you're seeing something odd.

If you have time, please open a ticket on our Discord for any odd graphics problems so we can take a closer look. Your build number, graphics settings, PC specs, player.log file, and screenshots or a short video help us reproduce what's happening and get it fixed.

This is still an early tech demo, and we're continuing to build out the story, gameplay, and systems. Keep the feedback coming in the comments or on Discord. If something breaks, include your build number and what you were doing. For performance issues, your PC specs help too.
