Office Party Tech Demo Alpha Is Here!

Hey Partiers!

Office Party Tech Demo Alpha

You’ve seen the screenshots, read the updates, and asked us “OFFICE PARTY WHEN?” a perfectly reasonable number of times. We’re excited to finally put the Office Party Tech Demo Alpha in your hands! Patrons at Alpha Tier and higher can grab the build below.

Sex

First, let’s answer the question some of you were already scrolling down to ask: there’s no sex in this build yet. HR has been granted a temporary reprieve. But rest assured, this is Office Party, so you will find some spicey scenes and nudity.

We’re revamping Office Party’s intimacy system, with the goal of making those moments more interactive. Think of it as a mix of the direct, first-person feel of House Party’s original legacy POV system and the presentation of its newer cutscenes. We want you to feel more involved in what’s happening, and we’re excited about where it’s heading. That system is still in development, and we hope to give you a look at it soon!

What's in the Tech Demo?

For now, this build is all about giving you a hands-on preview of some of the technology, gameplay, and graphics powering Office Party. We’ve spent a lot of time building the systems behind the game, and screenshots can only show so much. We’re ready for you to start getting a feel for how it looks and plays.

Bugs

Please keep in mind that this is an early tech demo, with a limited slice of what we’re building. The full game’s story, content, and systems are still taking shape, and there’s plenty more we want to put in your hands.

We’re also still tweaking the clothing and how it fits and moves, so if you see clipping or items not quite fitting right, that's why. The plus side is that you'll get to enjoy some wardrobe malfunctions that won't make it to the final release.

AI

You might be wondering what's up with the AI stuff. AI is completely optional in Office Party. You can play the entire scripted game without it, but it can add to the gameplay experience if you choose to use it to enhance quests and NPC dialogues, and also free-text any NPC. We’re still building out those features, so what’s here is an early preview of what we’re working toward. Give it a try if you’re curious, or leave it off and enjoy the party your way.

Feedback

If you’ve been with us through House Party, you know how much that game grew with your feedback. Office Party builds on everything we learned along the way: the characters you loved, the freedom to experiment, the questionable decisions, and the bugs you somehow found five minutes after we uploaded a build.

We’re bringing that same spirit into a bigger adventure, and this demo is a chance for you to help us shape it. Let us know what you enjoy, what feels confusing, and what needs more work. If something breaks, tell us what you were doing when it happened. Performance feedback is useful too, so include your PC specs if you’re having trouble.

Timeline

Here’s what’s coming next:

  • Available now: Tech Demo Alpha for Alpha Tier and higher.

  • October: A Patreon beta build for Beta Tier and higher.

More builds are coming your way soon! We’ll keep sharing new builds with our patrons as we work toward Early Access, which we’re hoping to launch by the end of the year. We’re excited to keep showing you more of Office Party as it comes together, including that new cutscene system.

Thank you for sticking with us, supporting development, and being part of this very questionable career move. We know you’ve been waiting a long time to get your hands on Office Party, and we can’t wait to hear what you think.

Don't forget to wishlist Office Party on your store of choice:

Playing through the demo, I noticed there's Unity & DLSS upscaling, is there any plans for FSR upscaling? If there already is, I didn't see it, and I apologize for the dumb question.

Yes! Unity 6 currently natively supports DLSS 4.5 (but without frame generation). It supports FSR 2.1 (also without frame gen), and STP. We decided not to implement FSR 2.1, because it's so outdated. However, we are looking into integrating support for FSR 4 with frame gen and DLSS 4.5 with frame gen, using a third party plugin, and/or some internal tools.

Being a huge fan of HP I absolutely loved the tech demo! Only issues i had were that some quest objectives weren't activating but reloading my save fixed it.. Can't wait to see what's to come for Office Party!

Bugs-wise it seems pretty smooth for me (Ryzen 7 9800X3D/Radeon RX 9070 XT) but I occasionally get some weird artifacting where horizontal lines appear and rapidly flash (it happened more than once but I recall it happening while looking down the hall from my apartment's doorway). Possible bug but when you build rapport at the mirror it teleports you to the living room for some reason. Also noticed some strangeness with voice volume going up and down when speaking to Skye through the door and speaking to Chupito (in my apartment). Also the classic HP awkwardness with some of the pathing (Skye trying to walk past me on the couch). Non-bug feedback: Penis is too floppy at seemingly any size (lol) and when doing things like picking up the TV remote from the coffee table the movement is a little disorienting. Not sure if it's that it moves too fast, too much, etc but it seems a little much. Thanks for posting, had fun with it and I'm looking forward to a full EA build release.

Failed to load ilcp, what does that mean?

E
Eek! Games · October 4, 2026

That could be because security software blocked/quarantined part of the game files? It means that it couldn't load the game. Make sure you unzip it too first - that might also be able to cause that.

Been a fan since the very early House Party days as it was all coming together and it's been a real treat to see you guys evolve over the many years of hard work and development. Once I got the e-mail notif saying you guys had released an alpha test for Office Party I immediately jumped back on the wagon. Can't wait to dive in - and congratulations on the first release, Eek team!

No issues running it maxed out. Basic AI takes a long time for any responses, which is expected, but at this point it's not practical for me. Advanced takes many, I gave up waiting and closed the game. I'm not going to use outside AI, so I guess off entirely it is. Ryzen 7 7700 with 64GB ram and an Nvidia 5070 12GB.

If you lower your other settings, it could improve the AI response time. The AI is pretty heavy on the video card, and if some of it needs to run on the CPU and/or shift into system memory, that usually makes it chug harder. If you play around with the settings, you may be able to find a setting that looks pretty good and can still have decent response times. You can try lowering your fps cap to give the card some breathing room and try adjusting some other settings. There is some information that might be helpful in the F6 dev command. We can help you tweak it more on Discord if needed too!

Hello! I’ve been waiting a long time for this game to be released. I downloaded and installed it eagerly, but I’ve run into a problem: the graphics are all tiny dots and black specks, and I can barely see anything. What should I do? ;(

Probably wouldn't hurt to mention your full system specs. and properly report it so they can investigate.

Unplayable. Screen turns black when looking any direction too long. Turning the camera clears it briefly, then it blacks out again. Only the player and other characters are visible (they turn blue) everything else is invisible.

That's not good at all! You're the first person to report this and we haven't seen it in our tests. If you have time to chat with us on Discord https://discord.gg/eekgames we'd love it if you could help us figure out what's going on!

A lot of times logging into a google account fixes this. You already told us that isn't working for you though on Discord. Working on a solution for you shortly!
