Restitched: From The Vault | Pillow Fort Default Background

Did you know that in late 2021, we were preparing a plush pillow fort environment that would be used for the game's default/blank level editor background?

This was conceptualized and modeled by our 2D/3D Artist, Carter.

We didn't get much further than this (only adding some string lights and background furniture) before deciding to ditch the idea. Instead, we felt it more fitting to have a construction zone aesthetic.

The construction idea had 2 versions, with both serving as a default background for most of the game's development. We now have our final default background, which you've surely seen!
