I wanted to make one last post to thank all of you for the outpouring of support over the last week. It's meant a ton to me. The next time I'm feeling down, for whatever reason, I'm going to go back and reread those wonderful comments. It'll be impossible to stay sad while doing so.
I'm leaving you in good hands. Iksanabot is a friend of mine, and I'm a fan of his work. Even when doing games about temptation and cheating, he's always provided a full, first class citizen path that allowed you to be faithful and monogamous. And these paths have been hot. I really appreciate that.
And you know what I think of Mortze. I could go on for days praising him.
Two of the most consistent complaints about my work have been a desire for me to move to Renpy and a desire to do sex that wasn't so "vanilla." I think these two are up to the task of giving us the kind of stories I like while having options and paths that could bring in a wider audience. It's my utmost hope that, sometime in the future, they're doing fantastically on the financial front and people are saying, "That Tlaero must have been holding Mortze back." (Okay, you don't have to say that out loud, but you're allowed to think it.)
My last game is Darkness Falls Episode 7. I just sent Mortze a link to it. He'll post that to Patrons when he's ready and to the public whenever he feels the time is right.
I've also moved the two Demon Guard episodes into the public "AAA" link on the home page. So, if you haven't read them yet, they're now available to everyone. There is a small chance that, at some point, I'll feel the need to continue that story and will covertly write an episode and add it to the link...
I'm going to stay in touch with Mortze. I'll most likely lurk here as well. But I intend for this to be my last post as "Tlaero."

Guys I've been out a couple of weeks and I couldn't imagine to come back to these developments. I'm really new to all of this, at first I was just looking for something new, something more involving than just watching porn. And you, Tlaero and Mortze, didn't just gave me that. You gave tenderness, care, complexity, deepness. A whole world and even a renewed drive for narrative, something I had lost some time ago. I do not know you and you gave me so much for nothing, really. I wish I'd found you earlier, I wish I could have been involved in the development of your work, have met you sooner. I feel humbled to have witnessed the passion Tlaero put on her work because even outside of this field is widely unmatched. So thank you Tlaero, thank you and thank you again. What you have achieved is roofpopping, something will leave a mark in everyone will come in contact with your work and that i feel will be truly inspirational for many developers to come. I hope the best for you, that this resolution will give you the peace you deserve for the truly lovely heart you have shown us in the layers of your writing and in the care for this work. You always manage to spare some words to praise Mortze, who is truly an artist, but take that you are too, a great one. Thank you again, I sincerely wish you the best.
Can't agree more to this. Most of the mainstream porn is just fantasy is so far away from reality. When I first played Redemption for Jessika, I was like that is how every game should be. It was so engrossing and the reason behind it was the story. I started the game by seeing the renders but I stayed for the plot. Tlaero and Mortze's games are like the Game of Thrones of adult games.

Thank you for the great stories and characters, achieved by hard work, time effort and even a secret double life. RfJ was my first adult game and to this day it is still one of my most favorite games. I sincerely wish the best to you and your real life (even though we all secretly wish that we´ll hear something from you in the future).

Best wishes for your next step. Your work in fiction, remember that scifi story you started some time ago, was nice to read. Not going to make you uncomfortable in any way, or reveal anything, but if you could find a way to read more of your (non sex) work, it'd be great.
