Introducing the new writer (and coder).
Folks, the person that approached me has been in talk with me in the past days and we're very enthusiastic of what lies ahead. Here's a text he wrote to introduce himself to you.
This doesn't invalidate the poll I'll run tomorrow.
Sorry for the avalanche of posts, I know it bothers many to have their email get invaded with our communications, but I believe the right policy is to keep you - the patrons - as informed as possible, specially in important times like these.
Here it is:
" Hello everyone, I’m iksanabot. I am the writer that has offered to help Mortze keep his Patreon support going. I have been involved in the adult gaming community for almost 10 years, and it was Tlaero’s work that first got me interested in writing my own game. I have written several games for the adult game production company called “Lesson of Passion.” My most successful games include the Living with Temptation series (Living with Temptation, Living with Temptation expansion: Wife Gone Wilder, and Living with Temptation 2: Foreign Affairs), and Seducing the Throne. My style is more light-hearted and raunchy than Tlaero, but I am very capable of writing more emotional, character-driven stories. I have a short story series on an erotic literature site (Literotica.com) called “A Glorious Tease”. If you want to see an example of my more sophisticated work, check it out. Even though the games I’ve written in the past are less serious and more hardcore than what Tlaero would normally do, I think their popularity is mostly due to the way I write the characters. I like to write believable people that the player can relate to, and then put them, believably, into unbelievably hot situations :)).
Some of you who know my work may be excited at the possibility of me and Mortze teaming up, while others may be horrified to think of me bringing some of the themes I write about to the Elsaverse. Let me remind you that Tlaero vouched for me. Though I have written lots of hardcore scenes with promiscuous women, I like to write strong female characters, and I want to make the player have to treat women with respect and consideration in order to get any kind of sexual reward. That is admittedly at odds with the fact that the Living with Temptation series is about a man tempted to cheat on his wife with the hot live-in nanny that is taking care of the baby. I guess I have to take that mark against me if it bothers you, but that game is complicated. And at the very least, you have to treat the nanny with respect and consideration to make anything happen with her, and you have to treat the wife with respect and consideration to reach any of the good endings with her. So, I guess to sum up, I do let my players be a little bit bad sometimes, but never all bad. I am disgusted by games with rape or anything even remotely related to rape. I am also not a fan of incest or tentacles, in case you are worried about that. If you guys support Mortze and I working together, we will write a game with believable characters who you have to treat well to earn experiences with. Even so, you won’t be locked into monogamy unless you want to, and there will be opportunities for group sex, if you want to do that :).
This brings me to the possibility of finishing Darkness Falls. For now, I don’t want to do that. For one, I don’t want to learn how to use Adventure Creator - I just don’t have that much extra time. Second, I am not comfortable taking control of Tlaero’s major characters. Tlaero gave her blessing, but I honestly think I would be paralyzed by the concern that I would write them in a way that hurt or disappointed Tlaero, and no amount of reassurance from her could help me get over that concern. Third, I have a ton of game ideas and really just want to get them out, without delay. So, what Mortze and I have been discussing is making a game that is set in the Elsaverse, with cameos from all the Elsaverse characters, but with a more light-hearted story. As a rule, the more major a character was in Tlaero’s writing, the less of a role they would play in the new game, for the reason I’ve already expressed. So yes, maybe Miranda or Elsa might show up for a hot scene, but they will not be central characters. As of now, we are considering Serena, Paul’s co-worker from Saving Chloe, to be a main character, with at least two other major love interests that will be completely new to you (including a hot redhead, for those of you who love Lisa from Living with Temptation), and lots of other peripheral characters. So, we are looking at a light-hearted, fun and funny Elsaverse story with tons of opportunities for sex. The story won’t be about the supernatural stuff that is in the Elsaverse, it will be much more about the characters. It will be character-driven, with tough choices and some emotional situations, but those will come in between less serious scenes that are just fun, or that just build sexual tension, or that make you smile for some other reason.
I am going to post this to some of the forums where people know my work, and get the word out to hopefully bring more patrons here. Mortze and I need to know how much support we have out there for this partnership. Please comment and let us know what you think. I hope you want me here, I will do my best to do right by you, by Mortze, and by Tlaero.
This is all by no means decided. Mortze is in control. If the majority are against this, he may decide not to make it happen. So tell us what you think"
He forgot to sign the text but it's Iksanabot's :)
I'll post this in public.

Crossed fingers for both of you guys!!! I'm just hoping that you finish and release Pandora II. I've been waiting for a sequel of this story since it was announced. Needless to say that the sooner the better.
You have my huge support for giving your ideas and work in Tlaero and Mortze ' s universe, I know for a long time Lesson of Passion and my favorite game is Living with Temptation, espiecally the character of Lisa. Even if your style is diferent that Tlaero's I'm sure you will be very capable to make wonderful game which will give us huge satisfaction. By the way I am very enthusiastic about the game with a character inspired by Lisa.
Your the creator of living with temptation? Then you got my vote. That game was HOT!!!! Really loved seducing the throne as well.
You've got my support and I hope your collaboration works out for you. Looking forward to your new games. The idea of a game with cameos can work to respect the old and move forward with new stories and characters.
Oh, no! I just realized: Are we now not ever going to find out just what it was Keeley saw when she walked into her bedroom at the end of "Coming to Grips with Christine"? Is it gonna be one of those eternally unanswered cliffhangers, like "The Sarah Connor Chronicles" or "Sliders” or “My Name Is Earl”?? I need to know if it turned out she saw Patrick Duffy getting out of the shower or Suzanne Pleshette waking up or… what?! (It is possible I have too much free time on my hands today….)
My opinion is that her husband was alone but watching furry porn; enough to destroy any marriage. -- Mortze
Something I'm missing in both your statement and patron's comments is that Tlaero's success was not only based on strong and deep characters you have to respect in order to have sex with them. The driven force of her games was STORY. Many people say they enjoy playing these games and wouldn't have minded if there were no sex at all in them, and that means something. Please don't forget that when thinking about your new projects.
I support the new potential collaboration, not least because Tlaero has endorsed it, and both Mortze and Iksanabot have declared their intent to tread lightly over her legacy. I believe that it is the right thing to do to step away from the elements that are strongly associated with Tlaero's strengths for a while. Maybe in time you will be able to revisit her work like you did with some of Phreaky's characters and breathe new life into some earlier favourites.
Part of the Elseverse were strong women with powers. I got the feeling that Tlaero was building towards something. If you are not interested in powers maybe move onto something else. I just feel that the Elseverse was a world created by a female writer and that was part of the appeal. Just my opinion. Having said that, I've been a big fan of yours for a while. After Dreaming with Else, Living With Temptation is one of my favorite erotic games. I think you guys will do great things together.
I am pleased with Iksanabot as Mortzes next partner. I found the character portraits of LWT and STT well written. Bottom line is, the women always gave the impression that they could say NO if you didn´t deserve their attention. The scene with Lisa in the original where it "finally happened" was very hot. Tlaero is gone, and while we will miss her dearly, you should start your own thing. Oh and one tiny idea about the name of tlaero appearing in future games. How about an airline company by the name of TL Aero, that is known for treating their employees fairly and protecting their dignity even from top customers.
This seems like it'd be an excellent professional link-up.
I like the writing in the games you've mentioned working on, but at the same time, to be honest, I hate the grindy and repetitive gameplay in those games (except LwT2), so I hope your collaborations with Mortze will have gameplay closer to Tlaero than Lesson of Passion. How do you feel about working on a game set in the Pandora universe, which is a universe and characters created by Mortze, not Tlaero? I really hope you'll be willing to do it, when Mortze feels up to it of course, because Pandora is truly an amazing setting with amazing characters, and it would be a shame if it was never revisited!
I've loved Iksanabot's work in the past. I've loved Mortze's work in the past. It's a bright future. That said, I hope you do some original work too. We love the elsaverse, but it kinda ended on a nice pin in the overall story, something new would be really, really cool. Good luck guys!
I loved every single word of this introduction, I'm really looking forward to what you guys are capable of as a team ;)
Honestly, if you're not going to end DF any time soon (I'm deeply sad, but I understand your reasons), I would prefer you two move away from the Elsaverse. Comparisons will arise and can hurt you a lot more than if you just decide to do something completely different. Now it's the perfect time for a real 'revolution' in which you can show us the stories and environment you're more comfortable with. You'll have to seduce us again and I think it would be easier if you're not constantly reminding us the person who's gone. Setting a game in the Elsaverse would do exactly the wrong thing. Then, once you're already settled on your very own feet, you can always go back and try some 'tribute' to her universe from your own style and point of view.
This is very interesting. Stylistically, Iksanabot will be (based on his previous work) a big change from Tlaero, but I will admit that I have enjoyed his past writing. Iksanabot is, in my opinion, the best writer to have worked for LoP, and I am excited by the idea of him teaming up with Mortze. As far as filling Tlaero's shoes goes, I honestly don't think that he should try. I like the idea of future stories set in the Elsa-verse that focus on side characters (with main character cameos), but if this mantle does indeed pass to Iksanabot, I am honestly more interested in seeing what he can produce in terms of completely original content. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the Elsa-verse, and I love the characters and stories that Tlaero created. I am not happy to see it go away, but I would rather that happen than to see a situation created where Iksanabot (and Mortze) wind up feeling "trapped" in Tlaero's legacy. I have nothing but love and admiration for Tlaero’s work. I am not eager to see the Elsa-verse pass away, but I would I would be okay with that happening if it was necessary to avoid the above-mentioned situation. I am, however, hopeful that if Iksanabot does take over as the writer for Tora productions that he and Mortze will find a balance that will let them respect and honor the past without letting it stand in the way of the future.
I don't have any personal experience with Lesson of Passion. But I've heard them being mentioned here and there at times and all of it has been positive so far. iksanabot seems like a cool dude and he's been a long time fan of Tlaero's work and seems to have great respect for it(almost to the point that he's afraid to touch her characters it seems), which is great. I get kinda a "Rogue One" director vibe from him. When you watch interviews with the director it becomes pretty clear that he's a big Star-Wars fan, which ultimately shows in the movie I think. Which is why it is one of my favorite Star-Wars movies to date. George Lucas might have been the original mastermind, but that director was able to make his own movie that paid respect to what had come before and nicely set up episode IV. Anyway back to the point. Throughout this post he continuously mentions how he values that the characters in his games are actual characters, which is a huge plus for me. One of the things that I appreciated about the games produced by you and Tlaero was that the women weren't just simply walking, talking ona-holes with a cliché dere "personality" slapped on top. I'm excited to see what you can cook up together. : )
I declare myself to be cautiously optimistic. Iksanabot has some pretty big shoes to fill and only time will tell how this new team-up works out. But I'm sure Tlaero wouldn't give her recommendation to some random schmuck and his series on Literotica is well written so I'll give him a benefit of a doubt
This sounds very promising. I enjoyed the world and characters of LwT and it's my favorite series of LoP but never knew the person behind it. Now I know and I look forward to what you two can produce. This is pretty exciting.
Very sad too lose Tlaero, but i've played several of Iksanabot's games on lopgold. Pretty good too. So probably a good replacement :-)
I'm trying to look at this like I would with a comic book: The writer is moving on, but the artist is staying with the title. Stan Lee and Jack Kirby did legendary work together, but I think both did just fine on their own, too. If Tlaero / Stan Lee is heading out, but being followed by iskanabot / Roy Thomas, I'm fairly optimistic. Excelsior!
That's a hell of a comparison!! Awesome -- Mortze
Wow indeed, Tlaero is very difficult to replace and will be missed, but iksanabot is one of the few people out there with the necessary experience to actually pull it of. I love Tlaero's games, the LOP games written by Iksanabot are awesome as well with well-written characters, so I am confident that this new partnership will make games that are just as compelling, even if they will be somewhat different from Tlaero's work.
Wow. Even though it pains me to loose Tlaero, this is really great news. Iksanabot clearly is the best writer over at LOP. I trust you guys and hope this collaboration will produce great games.
I understand trying something simpler and with less known characters to dip your toes into the water. I really hope that DF can be resumed later, as I really was enjoying the story and the characters
I think this is a great idea. It will for sure be different. But I am excited for the new chapters and worlds you two will create. I am especially excited if serina is the main character I will say I will be disappointed if df does away. Now saying that I fully understand. I was just excited to see where it was going.
I'm looking forward to what you guys can cook up together.
