Being a solo modeler, designer, and creator isn’t always easy. Some projects end up taking far more time than I initially expect—and this is definitely one of them.
To be completely honest, I hit a roadblock with the finger mechanics. They just weren’t working the way I wanted, and that held up progress. With projects like this, certain elements have to be solved first before moving forward, because everything needs to come together perfectly in the end.
At the same time, I’ve been genuinely excited to work on this. Solving all these small challenges—the little “puzzles” that make everything function—is a huge part of what makes the process so rewarding, and ultimately what will make this project really stand out.
The good news is: the finger mechanics are now solved. 💪
So all my focus is on pushing forward and getting this completed as soon as possible.

There's no way to "Grip" the fingers, the levers may seem effortless but it has little strength.
That’s awesome! The design of the fingers is outstanding! I really like the idea of fully printable vs. having to use screws to assemble. Really can’t wait to see the full design!
Yeah, was hoping to just have a pick out a filament and print approach. The v1 was much more assembly oriented and many parts, but v3 is overall a far better choice :D
I think the progress is worth it sir. This looks amazing and genuinely I can’t wait for it to come out.
