Rumi's sword breakdown video :)
Here it is, guys — a detailed look into my Rumi’s Sword design!
If you have any questions about the build, feel free to drop them in this post and I’ll help you out.
This one’s pretty straightforward but features a unique light-up approach I haven’t seen done anywhere else yet. I just wanted to show you how I made it and offer help if needed.
I’m really happy to see that some of you have already built it and shared your results in the FB group — that’s awesome ! 🙌
This was a super fun project, and I just want to say thank you all for your amazing support for allowing this patreon to thrive :)

Can I still get this file?
Just joined how do I get the rumi sword
how strong is this? ive printed another version from maker world, and it dropped once time and snapped. so that kinda sucked.
oh this one is definatelly much stronger, i dropped it a few times, no problem at all. now just keep in mind wich optino you wish to build. if you dont glue the blade parts toegether if yoo drop it they may or may not come apart, but you can just push them in, if you glue the blade parts, then you have even less to worry. i also tried hitting stuff with it. ofcourse you can't duel with it but its quite strong even if it may not look like it :)
you rock man! my daughter is going to freak out!

Any chance you could link where you got the led lights from
Everything is in the project folder :)
Is this video a breakdown? Or a TAKEDOWN!
Hahah nice one :D
Love it!!!
Thank you :)
What color filament did you use?
transparent pla by elegoo, gold filament by 3d jake and copper from bambulab :D
Ty for the video . I’m having a really hard type looping the lights to the hook in the pointed part of the blade .
ah yes, so what i did there was i took a piece of metal rod ( like the ones i use in my predator dreadlocs) and just looped it arround and then tied the leds to one end and pulled it back in. i did this twice so anotehr appraoch i took was again with the metal wire - i made a little hook at the end of one piece , pushed it all the way in, and then on another metal wire piece there was a hook so i just pulled it back down. the moment you get the wire thru its just a matter of tying the led's to the wire adn pulling them back in. hope that makes sense :D
