I'd like to make the credits screen more elegant. I would like to know what you think of the credits in the Rampage core. For future JT cores the changes would be:
- Same font for all games -instead of using a game specific font
- Leave the game running in the background with dimmed colours
- Scrolling screen instead of fixed one
For me, as developer, this has the advantage of being more portable across cores so I can speed up the development cycle. But the most important thing is what you think about it. Although I am opening the poll to all patrons, the opinion of those in the affected tiers will count more, so please add your comments below or write to me.
I'm bringing up this topic now as I'm preparing the public release of the Double Dragon cores.

Quiero hacer la pantalla de créditos más elegante. La del core de Rampage me gusta, ¿qué opináis de ese estilo? Para los cores JT los cambios serían:
- Misma letra para todos los juegos -en vez de usar la de ese juego
- Dejar el juego corriendo de fondo con colores atenuados
- Pantalla móvil en vez de fija
Para mí, como desarrollador, esto tiene la ventaja de ser portable entre cores así que el ciclo de desarrollo se acorta. La encuesta es para todos los mecenas pero la opinión de los afectados directamente por estar en esas capas contará más. Podéis dejarme vuestros comentarios abajo o escribirme directamente.
Saco el tema ahora porque estoy preparando el lanzamiento público de los cores de Double Dragon.

everytime i try and update mister all my jotego cores go to a black screen and i cant get them to work. only OSD and credits show up. please help! also thanks for your hard work jotego!
There have been some changes in directories in MiSTer so the update script for JT cores needs reviewing. I still haven't got time to look at it but some people like Retrodriven are offering other scripts. Please link your Discord account to Patreon and ask other users in our community since they will know better than me how to get around these things.
Credits should pause the game, uniform Credits screen is great, not too fancy ;-)
Faster dev and uniform style are great, but having the option to pause is HUGE. I definitely agree with the other comments on leaving the pause function.
I like having an option to pause if possible, but whatever works best development wise.
Use what you think is best.
I'm okay with either the game specific font or same font as well as the scrolling credits, but I like actually being able to pause the game
I like the look of the game specific fonts personally, but combined with a scrolling feature would be great!
A uniform and simple style for all cores is a very good idea but if it is also possible to keep the pause function in the game it seems perfect.
Rampage style, but you have to earn the credits old school style by beating the game 😁

I don’t mind the credits style as seen in Rampage, but I actually like how the credits screen allows you to pause the game and still listen to the BGM that is currently playing.
