Man does this ever make me want to experiment with a projector set up. Must be incredible in person!
Projectors are all kinds of fun. I used to use one for my backyard tiki bar but have since used cheapo thrift store flat-screen tvs that I just toss when they die. But projectors are great for makeshift outdoor movie nights or retro games!

Hell yeah! Rayforce - the game with so many names. I think in EU regions it's called Gunlock, then in USA it's Galactic Attack, then Japan renamed it Layer Section for the Saturn release. The arcade has just that amazing extra detail of scaling and parallax, but the Saturn port is pretty damn close.

Can you please play "lightening force" on genesis, if you do can you please play stage 8 music in the music test in the options? It's right up your alley. If you already know this stuff then I always wanted to know what you think of "super earth defense force" on snes, it's one of the few snes shooters I like.
I know it's not arcade, but have you ever played Abadox for NES? Pretty gory graphics for 8-bit... you play inside a planet-sized alien... by Milton Bradley 🤔
