Hey everyone,
My favorite mod used to be Flerb's Power Outages, but it was throwing out LEs and generally misbehaving. I tried to fix it but ended up deciding it was easier to make my own! This is completely made from scratch and works differently.
Your Sims can experience power cuts during storms (Seasons is a required pack) that can last for hours. They will have different buffs depending on their traits and lifestyles.

i think this is broken, i got a power outage but my light didnt turn off , i could still turn it off and on like normal

Hi, I'm having a problem where when the energy comes back it sends more than one text about it... Like all the different types of texts talking about energy coming back I use translations but I don't think it would be it that's causing the issue

I love this mod, but I'm having a problem. The power has been out at my high school for over 24 hours, and there's no way to call the power company because it isn't my sim's home lot. I even tried placing the school lot again but it immediately went dark.
Never mind, I figured it out. I needed to update my Core Library file. Anyone else having this problem, try that.
Would you be able to add an item, like a generator, for buildings like the hospital/schools, so it ignores power outages? Being a doctor without power is impossible lol, but I like it for homes!

hi! i've been having an issue with this mod where it seems like the power never goes back on. right after my sim called the utility company a notification came about the power being back on but it wasn't

I like this mod a lot, thank you for creating and sharing it :) While using it, i thought about a feature that could increase immersion with power outages. Would it be possible to auto-light candles when power is off ? Since i use this mod, i use to place candles everywhere and currently manually light them. But some automation would be great me think. If that is possible ?
