Renowned Ideas — Choose 2 community item ideas to be made!

Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a week-long cooldown.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Breath of Revitalizing Corruption — A magical, corroded flute that can be used to expel a cloud of noxious, withering necrotic air that deals damage to creatures caught within it and restores some of the damage dealt as hit points back to you.

2) Ballroom Breaker — An elegant ballroom mask that grants a bonus to Charisma (Persuasion) checks made between dawn and dusk, and can be used to magically create and wear a formal outfit during the same time.

3) Mage Plate — This iron ring that glows with a spectral light. It has 3 charges that can be used if you are not wearing armor to don a spectral set of armor; either breastplate (1 charge), half plate (2 charges), or plate (3 charges). This armor doesn’t impose disadvantage on stealth checks or have a strength requirement and you are considered proficient with it.

4) Wainwright’s Sturdy Traveler — A specialized tool that can be used to summon a large wagon with a pair of oxen and all necessary equipment after 10 minutes. It lasts for up to 8 hours or until the oxen are reduced to 0 hit points.

5) Dark Bargain — This dark armor has a faint acrid odor and was crafted by a hag. It has charges that can be used as a bonus action to take a -2 penalty to your AC until your next turn, but creatures that hit you in that time take acid damage.

6) Ring of Lunar Might — The moon fragment in this ring allows you to use its charges to increase the gravity around you, turning the area into difficult terrain. Alternatively, you can focus the gravity on 1 creature, forcing them to take force damage and save against being knocked prone.

7) Owlbear Leather Armor — You gain proficiency with this armor while wearing it, and if you fail a Constitution Saving throw, you can choose to succeed instead.
