Renowned Ideas — Choose 2 community item ideas to be made!

Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a week-long cooldown.

Ideas

Hey! These items all offer attuned and non-attuned options for players.

1) Dimension-locking Bomb — A crystalline orb about 3 inches across that explodes upon impact, releasing a swirling mist that magically prevents affected creatures from teleporting or using extradimensional travel for 12 hours.

2) Mag's Field Roll — A bed roll suited for any environment. You can draw the roll closed around you while laying on a stone or metal surface to cause the roll to hover up to 4 inches off the ground, as if suspended by magical down. Has a limited hover duration.

3) Feywood Ivy — Magical fey vines that can be wrapped around a weapon, creating a magical holster for it and turning it into a spellcasting focus. If you attune to it as a druid or ranger, you gain the druidcraft spell, and can cause the vines to restrain a creature 1/day.

4) Bridesmaid's Envy — A cursed set of earrings meant to be shared with another creature. A creature wearing one of your earrings that isn't you is your Devoted, who can help you as a bonus action and gain bonus temporary hit points when you roll a 20. 

5) Lock and Key — A pair of candies designed to poison and sabotage a target with mind control magic. An unknowing creature who eats Key can be forced the creature with Lock to make a save. On a failure, it's influenced by either geas or modifiy memory.

6) Fract-ale — A prismatic potion of curious ale that causes other creatures to get double vision when looking at you. Drinking it causes you to produce illusory duplicates of yourself, as per the mirror image spell, for 1 hour.

7) Silent Hearing — A pair of platinum earpieces that, when worn, allow only the wearers to see illusory subtitles of what the other creature is saying. The subtitled language is always in Common.
