Fifa 22 Tech Avion/Overpriced Selling
One of my favorite trading techniques at the start of Fifa is Tech Avion! It's super simple, proven to work and works great the first few months.
Tech Avion is a method that became famous from French traders and it essentially entails selling a high volume of cards to lazy buyers.
WHY DO PEOPLE LAZY BUY?
I get asked this extremely often and since I know the market well it's tough for me to determine. Here are some thoughts -
Users often build concept squads and buy off that screen. It's not effective and kind of tedious, so they likely search by a specific buy now and don't find the lowest.
For example, let's say Ousmane Dembele is 30K. If the user searches at 25K and finds nothing, they may jump to 35K to buy one. This is simply from lack of market knowledge and laziness.
New users who don't understand the market may just search a player by name and not by price. This could make a card appear cheap when in reality it isn't.
In Fifa 21, EA also had some issues with search filters, which really heightened this issue.
All-in-all, lazy buying happens frequently and likely for a variety of reasons.
To perform tech avion, you are looking to snipe/bid on a card with a good chemistry and list it for 15-20% higher. You can apply 99 contracts to increase the chance of a sale, but I've only found it to be minimally helpful in Fifa 21. Let's use an example -
You snipe a Gelson Martins for 5.8K WITH Hunter when he's currently selling at 6K.
You list him for 7.5K.
If this card sells, you make 1.3K after tax! Is it a lot? It's great ROI, but not a ton of profit, the key is getting a high volume of sales in a day.
Keep in mind, when performing this method you would optimally have AT LEAST 50 cards listed at a time. I like to do it with a variety of cards and when one sells, I simply list another. I use popular cards under 100K for best results. I snipe them with position changes, shadow and hunter to increase the sale frequency!
You can also use overpriced selling similarly to Tech Avion. These two methods work similarly and take advantage of users who don't understand the market. To purchase these cards, they would not be searching by lowest buy now.
For Overpriced Selling aka 'Chilled Trading' you are using numbers to try and trick users to buy cards. It's a method that works insanely well with consistent listing.
In this example from myself last year, Rashford was consistently selling at 250-275K. I listed him 100K over that price hoping a buyer may be confused.
This is like 175K profit on these alone.
I probably sold 10+ cards last year 100K over their going price. That’s 1 million coins alone on just lazy buyers. You can apply this same method and go 10K over their going price with a similar impact.
If a card sells for 22K you can list it at 32K for example. If you list them enough, you will get sales.
WHEN TO BUY?
Tech Avion and overpriced selling work best in windows where there will be high buying traffic. I personally LOVED using this method from Thursday into Saturday morning as people gathered their Weekend League teams. This year, with Weekend League rewards paying out immediately I think the market will boost well on Sunday into Monday.
I filled up my transfer list after selling my Thursday Flips and often made 100 to 200K extra the next 48 hours by overpriced selling!
If a specific card on my list sold, I just replaced it! I bought another of the same exact card to list up.
WHEN TO SELL?
Constantly. Tech Avion's efficiency is all about how many listings you can run. Users often lazy buy in the last few minutes of a card listing, so listing them 10+ times a day is ideal. If you have a job that doesn't allow this then this may not be the method for you!
Here are some cards that should have good potential in Fifa 22 -
Jesus
Lucas
Konate
Chiesa
Tomori
Dembele
Semedo
Walker
Gomez
As you see, POPULAR cards that will be searched frequently to increase your chances of sales!
Here are a handful of examples from last year of Discord members running Tech Avion!
