Rewards day is upon us and I do expect a lot of market action finally! Players will get both their Weekend League and Rivals rewards adding a huge amount of buying power!
Meta cards should start to see a rise 3-4 hours post rewards and will continue to rise into the evening depending on content!
I am going to safely advise selling before 6 PM UK since we don't know the content. If you want to risk it, if there's poor content or no pack supply, cards will rise further that evening, but it's a risk!
Also, rewards presents an amazing opportunity for bidding just like Squad Battles. I know a lot of you flipped non rares for 300% profit and that's amazing ROI on a lower budget!
First, let's dive into the lower budget side as I know it's a grind. Rewards provides a great opportunity for both rare and non rares, so here's a list of both!
Just like rewards, I will list the current price to show what they have potential to climb to. With mass opening their buy now tends to drop and bids become very available!

Okay, that should be enough to cover low budgets and I highly encourage you to use this if you are under 100K!
Next, let's talk about what will happen with the META market at rewards! First, meta cards out of packs should begin to rise well! I know Werner dropped today, but that was beyond normal circumstances. His IF was mass supplied and in my opinion, to a degree that was impossible. I believe his pack weight was too high as there 300 on the market within 3 hours. This then brought down the gold. The OTW has recovered and the IF is rebounding as well. Anyways, out of pack stuff should rise right away. No supply, so if there are interested buyers there is instantly more demand than supply.
During the first hour, that is usually the buy time for 80K+ META cards. These tend to see a slight drop, but recover well due to demand. Players include Mendy, Gomez, Varane, Pogba, Son.
If you see a nice drop of 5-10% I think these are buys! I definitely like Mendy a lot this week as he also links with Koscielny. I know he's not the best SBC, but he had a decent completion %. People have untradable fodder to use, too!
Next, you'll see most cards around the 50K mark drop for a few hours due to the supply. If you pick the right cards, they can recover well. The hardest thing is knowing exactly when to buy and who will rise back up. Some that have shown really good signs recently include Allan, Wijnaldum, Bale, Vardy. Again, I would expect the low 2-3 hours in and then a recovery into the afternoon. Current TOTW also often the same pattern, but if you have not traded with them at rewards take a week to watch! See how low cards like Delaney and Depay get to see if they rebound!
Think of in-demand players that are popular in that mid-tier budget! These are usually cheapest a few hours into the supply.
Rewards are a tough time for me to be awake as it's 2 AM here, so the best thing I can do is show you things to look for! These trends have been really consistent this year.
