Eight months to get my license and it's the just beginning.
Today I was told I have done all the necessary requirements to get the “Swiss Certificate of Competence for Ocean Yachting”. It started in January, and it was Episode 6 of Winded Voyage. More than 25 episodes later me and Galopin can finally go and sail where the wind takes us. A new chapter, perhaps Winded Voyage Season 2 will begin next! Thank you all for your support and patience.

Thanks Todd! With the license in hand, I'm now planing to live aboard permanently as of September. It's somewhat daunting to untie the lines for good, but if I want to live the dream I got to wake up and smell the roses. That will be the big milestone.

Thanks! I feel like I have the key to the door that has kept me within landlocked Switzerland. Swiss passport, flag and license should allow me to go to a lot of places.
