Episode 32 | Into The Mouth Of Bonifacio

Hello everyone!

A few days ago I posted that I was licensed to sail the oceans. A fact that I only communicated to you dear Patrons of Winded Voyage. As the say, the license is in the mail. I'm patiently waiting for a little blue plastic card that will open the oceans to me, legally that is. Before I make this public on Facebook and the world – which is only populated by a 100 likes – I want to hold that card in my hands!

Enough said. The 1000M journey continues in this episode. We're off to Corsica. We discover the medieval city Bonifacio that teeters on top of dominating tall limestone cliffs overlooking the sea and the Bonifacio Straight. As we enter "Les Bouches de Bonifacio"  we relish on one of the most spectacular port entrances in which to sail . But before arriving at this impressive sight, we left Sardinia cruising through the Madallena Arpichelago and through the busy Bonifacio Straight.

If you ever get a chance to experience Bonifacio, do it! If you've done so, I'm sure you'll agree it's pretty bleep awesome!
